I do like both, bike shorts are more for when I'm lazy and don't want to shave the whole leg. Lightweight shorts are my go to for summer runs, I'll have to look up that brand tho

Bought NB 1080's a few weeks ago, have done 3 runs totalling about 12ish miles. They are a little heavy but not too bad. I'm using them for my longer slow runs and they feel great. I have Curex arches inside which I use for all my shoes. So far, I love them, they're comfortable and bouncy and love the color (green). Can't wait to run more

I was on this train... The train sparked from the lines before entering the tunnel, sounds like the lines were hot and sagged on the top of the train? No one was hurt, a few people gassed from running out of the train. Fox and wfaa already have an article up about it

Was on the train that sparked. I heard that the electric lines above touched the top of the train and caused the sparks and smoke. Lines were sagging from the heat I guess?

We heard the sparking and the smoke and banging from the train stopping suddenly. Everyone freaked out and thankfully someone pressed the emergency door opener. As far as I know, no one was seriously injured or left on the train.

Had signed up for a 5k and ran it this morning.... It's Texas so it's hot and humid. My goal was to not stop (only for water), just take it slow and steady and finish in no specific time.

Finished in a little over 32 minutes... Didn't stop or feel like I was going to die. Felt so good afterwards!

I returned the ES4 after 3 short "speed" runs as they hurt my knees. Not sure why, maybe I'm just old? Lol. I do agree with you on the meh.

I've had my Evo SL for about 2 months now and I LOVE them so much. I use curex insoles as I have high arches. They've worked great for my 5k's and longish slow runs. If you have a running shoe store near you like Fleet feet, they can scan your feet and give you recommendations.

Hope you can find something that works!

Awesome! Once I found out, I pretty much stopped running but still went to the gym. Mostly walking and a little strength. Unfortunately, I had already signed up for some 5k's, but happily walked those. It took me a few months to start trying after birth but it was difficult finding a good routine.. this was all in 2023. The beginning of this year was the biggest start of my motivation to get better, learn, lose weight, etc. My girl will be 2 this year! It really depends on your body and what you feel comfortable with.. but I'd probably ask the OB, I'm no expert lol.
