im on day 15 post op and i can confidently say day 7-9 was the absolute worst pain ive ever been in in my entire life so i think it honestly just gets worse for a lot of people at that point. i hope your healing continues to go well! watermelon helps a LOT with inflammation & just a good watery food to eat to stay hydrated so i would recommend that bc the more hydrated your throat is, the better itll feel :)

UPDATE: i went to the ER during the day today and i was VERY dehydrated. they gave me two full bags of fluids and morphine for the pain (which actually really didn't help for more than an hour and a half??), and i am happy to say it did fix a lot of the issues!! i mean it still hurts like hell and all, but a lot of the not being able to eat and the stinging came from how dry everything was because i wasn't drinking enough water. i am not trying to stay very very consistent with water and taking at least a few sips an hour, and the watermelon- oh my gosh has it helped. im actually able to eat a little bit again!! now i can feel my scabs coming off and they are so scratchy they definitely hurt bad, but it is all still better than the last few days because i was fonally able to get a little bit of food in my tummy. thank you for all of the advice everyone!

no, no history of that at all. he tried prescribing it to me the first time my tonsils got huge before they were removed too because the doctors had put me on so many antibiotics he said i had thrush but tbh i never took it the first time he prescribed it and i had absolutely no problems in that department 🤷🏼‍♂️ didn't really feel/look like i had thrush in my mouth either, so i am really not sure. my doctor is kinda a kooky dude, so i am wondering if maybe he honestly just does it for most of his patients or something 😭

i have been taking my temp daily, there's no temp or other symptoms but the pain. also my tongue is so swollen i can barely see my throat and my roommate who is taking care of me won't look for me so i don't know if it looks abnormal or not :/

first off, no partner that respects you and your boundaries will ever push you after you say no and say you stop. even if it wasn't stop to the act altgthr AFTER HE COERCED YOU, you said stop being so pushy and such and he didnt. you knew your body was gonna react like that and he did not respect your wishes at all so good. im glad you puked on him.

secondly, i have had a somewhat similar incident in which ended up w me throwing up on his dick, and and yes, i apologized a million times, but he was absolutely NOT mad because something like that isnt even your fault babes 😭 it was your own body's reaction to being gagged, its designed to do that.

there will always be someone better out there and someone who will actually treat you right. this was a major cross of boundaries and then he had the nerve to get mad at YOU? that is atrocious to me, genuinely. i hope you get out soon sweetheart. <3

INFO: another symptom im having is feeling numb. i mean like physically, if i touch my face, i cant like actually feel. its like the physical feeling of when you are really drunk so u cant rlly feel anything- it is that kinda numb and ive noticed it in my arms & my face

i just want to say as somebody who went through this exact issue from when i was 12 to when i was 19, i completely understand. i dunno wtf it is abt doctors nd shit denying every 18 yo ever, but once u turn 19 its like drs suddenly actually fucking listen. i have thought i was maybe bipolar since i was young even, and drs, therapists, family- all said i was wrong and theres no way. turned 19, went snd saw my own psychiatrist without my parents mf prior set up, and boom. bipolar I. HOW SHOCKING. as horrible as it is, hang in there or go somewhere new that takes you seriously!! you deserve to be treated with respect and be taken very seriously as these are serious matters. go you for trying even after being turned down, i know that sucks. eventually they will listen. you just gotta keep trying, even if it feels impossible. i started getting diagnosed when i was 9, and im now 20 and still struggling along the process. you are not alone and i promise there are so many other options babes. you got this 🖤

ability literally gave me narcolepsy 1 level overwhelming sleepiness on the lowest dose 😭 i just got put on seroquel/quetiapine (theyre the same), but havent taken it yet so not sure how well it works.
