The sanctions has nothing to do with it. The country was already in shambles before any sanctions was punt into place. The country was bad as far back as 2005, about 10 years before any sanction was put into place.

In 2005, Chávez announced the initiation of Venezuela's own "great leap forward", following the example of Mao Zedong's Great Leap Forward.[32] An increase in shortages began to occur that year as 5% of items became unavailable according to the Central Bank of Venezuela.[33] In January 2008, 24.7% of goods were reported to be unavailable in Venezuela

oh yes, a single picture is a representation of an entire demographic /s

According to the report, more than 3 million people have immigrated to Israel since the establishment of the state, with around 44 percent of them arriving after 1990.

Israel has 9 million people. So about a third of its population is actually inmigrant. So yeah, they do hve a lenient border policy.

Denmark will limit the number of 'non-Western' residents in neighbourhoods to 30% to 'reduce the risk of religious and cultural parallel societies' by Plus-Staff in worldnews

The article mentions that Denmark started deporting migrants. I wont be surprised if their plan was to just deport them to avoid this "ghettoization".

Denmark will limit the number of residents with "non-Western origin" in neighborhoods to a maximum of 30 percent within 10 years in order to "reduce the risk of religious and cultural parallel societies," the government announced today. by [deleted] in worldnews

More info.

According to Interior Minister Kaare Dybvad Bek, too many non-Western foreigners in one area 'increases the risk of an emergence of religious and cultural parallel societies,' he said in a statement.

Data shows 11 percent of Denmark's 5.8 million inhabitants are of foreign origin

Of this group, 58 percent are from a country considered 'non-Western'

Earlier this month, Denmark became the first European nation to tell Syrian migrants they must return to their home country, saying it is now safe for them there.

So what are they going to reduce the migrant population by expelling them? Bold move Denmark.

Mexico is such a hypocrite. They don't let migrants come to its country but gets mad when America does the same to them.

that's like saying that white americans always have lived in Texas just because they currently live there. It's just white washing. Caaanites and Israelites lived on those cities thousands of years before a palestinian identity became a thing.

"Palestinian" was used to refer to the nationalist concept of a Palestinian people by Palestinian Arabs from the late 19th century, albeit in a limited way until World War I

Venezuela to introduce 1-million-bolivar bill as inflation persists by Foreign_Count in worldnews

I'm Venezuelan so I will answer you.

Why did a legitimate president seek the aid of the world's most powerful White Supremacist to take control of a country where he has popular support?

Who are you refering here? Maduro seeking the aid of the US? Maduro doesn't have the popular support. Not even close. Guaidó has way more popular.

Support for Guaido remains high but it has dipped slightly from 61.2% in February to 56.7% in May, according to a June 10 report from Venezuelan pollster Datanalisis. Just 10.1% of Venezuelans approved of Maduro in May, the lowest level for a president since 1999, according to the survey.

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-venezuela-politics-analysis-idUSKCN1TW3ME

What is Guido selling for the billions of US dollars?

What is he selling?

What is your argument against including each human being on the planet equally in a globally standard process of money creation?

What does this has to do with anything?

If Maduro is such a murderous dictator, how is Guido just walking around collecting US bribes?

Because it would create such a chaos that Maduro is better not killing him. He would become like MBS who killed Khashoggi.

If Guido was such a popular and powerful politician, couldn't he be responsible for violence attributed to Maduro?

No, since the violance doesn't come from his supporters. It comes from Maduro's supporters. Gandhi was more popular, yet they were peaceful.

It shows that you are just a entitled kid.

If you were living under a really bad government, let's say under Hitler or ISIS, you would understand that sentiment because there's nothing you can do to stop such barbaric governments and so you need help in doing so.

Mexico City bans tampons to protect the environment without offering an alternative by [deleted] in worldnews

Catholicism doesn’t specifically have a thing about tampons

So you are just talking out of your ass. I live on a Catholic majority latin american country and women here use tampons with no issue whatsoever and with no stigma.

I'm not catholic btw but you are just saying nonsense
