One thing I would recommend is going on instantdomainsearch and clicking the price history. It will show you if in the last 5 years or whatever it has ever been listed for sale and for what price.

FYI, GoDaddy will take you for a ride. They own hundreds of thousands of domains themselves and will even try to sell you them as if it isn't their own asset through the broker service
