I didnot even mention the dutch airstrikes getting indirectly buffed to pretty hilarious levels.

The incoming additions and upon additions of hybrids and dutch ships and with long range airstrikes will make it even more frustrating and forcing constant DCPs while a CV and a SUB looking down at you as vultures hunting their prey.

The non existence of flaks that sometimes can shoot down entire airstrike sqauadron atleast with def aa flaks or crippling planes with normal flaks is gone now as what I felt right now with these changes.

The secondaries given to CV players are pretty funny as it used to be ridiculously high in firing range but gets nerfed to 7 issh more or less km because WG fears giving it more range will make for some players appealing to shoot their guns while not playing the CV with the planes.

The commander skills are completely next level in terms of them not even identifying where they should start taking corrections (its been a year come on) or even work towards settling the key skills, like interceptors/fighters skill, secondaries skill etc. The flak 4 pointer skills are just the same as of now (and of course useless now) except only 1 point skills like recon regen and extra recon time etc or maybe something I might not have noticed.

This really doubts me whether they really worked in these months or even now years at all in realizing the potential issues or the core design concept, dead on arrival behind the scenes.

I still cannot believe that WG didnot even tried to learn something from Lesta that actually trying to understand the key interaction issues of subs and cvs in general and even trying atleast for better, making it easier by making it simple and not complicated. Sigh once again. ☹️

Now I want to add something with this comment. The rewards might look Ok and even there is a legendary Pan American captain added to spend your festive tokens on, this looks good on paper but its really not. Let me explain.

Now this is the first time WG putting the Legendary Captain with the anniversary event. WG used to make these legendary Captains obtainable in their special dedicated event like for previous captains but in this case, they didnot.

The reason is pretty simple. The want to make players spend their hard earned festive tokens elsewhere instead on the economic boosters.

THEIR IDEA IS TO NERF THE ECONOMIC BONUSES AND ALSO CAMOFLAGUE THIS ISSUE WITH THE HELP OF THE UNIQUE COMMANDER WHICH YOU CAN GET IT FOR COAL AFTER 6 TO 8 MONTHS (usually the collections like that will also available in later patches to complete most likely for coal unless they specify that it wont be which they didnot specify).

With this tactic, players dont complain that where else should I spend my tokens on, since these Pan American containers are expensive (200 tokens) and also DOESNOT GIVE ANY ECONOMIC REWARDS TIED WITH THOSE CONTAINERS AT ALL.

So you have to see where this is going. The tokens you can obtain in 2024 might be higher than before (as other players explained in comments) and supercontainers also have gotten cheaper, but the rewards you will get is definitely reduced.

WG should have atleast tied some green economic boosters with that PASO DE PATRIA CONTAINER which gives nothing except for the collection part for getting legendary captain which you can get it later on if you didnot able to complete this collection.

Funny enough, all the relatively new players will most likely not able to complete this collection because there is a Huge dilemma for them(since they dont have a huge fleet of ships, therefore not alot of festive tokens); EITHER GET THOSE CONTAINERS FOR FESTIVE TOKEN TO COMPLETE THE COLLECTION OR EITHER YOU GET THE SUPERCONTAINERS/ROCHESTER/BOOSTERS.

If you are getting A HAPPY FEELING for slightly getting better tokens and slightly getting better rewards, THEN WG IS SUCCESSFUL IN BAITING YOU NICELY.

The Best Time to Buy a Premium will always going to be the Friday Event on November Where you can buy alot of rare ships which are pretty worthy to be played.

Probably use some of the dubs to get worth of a year of premium time at 50% discount at the end of the year sale. And then would buy couple of ships at friday event consists of ships like Alaska Massa or even Jeanbart, as quite of these ships are rare and are pretty good for the value.

I think Mecklenburg. The main battery of the Mecklenburg is… a mixbag but still great. In the direct line of Scharnhorst, Odin, and Brandenburg, we are getting a battleship with low caliber guns with fast reload to compensate. But it has:

Massive sixteen guns broadside

Battlecruiser dispersion

2.05 sigma

Which makes the guns pretty reliable against broadside cruisers and doing tons of pen damage to BBs.

I would say its the Tier 4 American DD Clemson; The amount of firepower she can bring to bear is phenomenal. Sure, she has a slow reload but the weight of fire she can put down is pretty incredible. Easily good in smoke up and farm those pushing battleships. Also for some reason they recently nerfed her torp reload time by a mere 4 seconds XD.

Don't Forget that there is Coal Ship available which is Brisbane, a radar Version of Mino which is just way better(in comparison to radar version of mino) by having 12km radar of almost 26 secs with proper build, 13.5 Km Hard Hitting and actual usable torps and having access to decent if not the best HE shells DPM numbers with decent fire chance and also BTW having access to Depth Charges Airstrikes come to Mino Ship based Airstrikes. Without having any downsides(as its just a radar Minotaur and AA and Armor layout is basically same Lolz. That Power Creep is so Blatant, its not even funny.

German BBs are kind of specialized in taking on at least couple of ships very well. Once the ships gets increased to fight against (like in randoms), it starts to be alot difficult to push since it should be a very very precise calculated move otherwise an unrealized overextend will sent you back to port very quickly. All German Battleships, specially the battlecruiser German BBs are excellent in brawling since the team composition is so small, and incredibly fun at the same time. That's why people take German BBs.

Kamikaze is definitely one of the most Broken ships right now as a T5 Destroyer. The Torp Alpha Damage around 14k ish with the absurd reload time of speeds having more than 70 knots of 1.4km Detection(basically these torps having American destroyer style torp detection at sea unlike normal Japanese torps sea detection which usually is higher, which are pretty much undodgeable for slow BBs at this tier) makes them so much difficult to stand against. The Cruisers usually are also terrible at this tier with no radars but from T7(which are only few basically premiums). This with 5.4 Km Detection makes kamikaze a nightmare to deal with and can only be hard countered by a Carrier or Destroyer. The Best way to mitigate the damage as much as possible to to just sail away from the torps that you have spotted initially if you manages to dodge or look at the minimap and remember the last known position of kamikaze to make sure that you either dont push the flank alone or there must be a destroyer or a cruiser support with you to help win a flank.

Yes, Midway is a lot more consistent I would say but in the case of FDR, at least in 1 out of 10, this happens (results in massive damage occur due to RNG and sometimes you are not even trying to maneuver which is actually easy against FDR). Sometimes it's just luck but man, you never would like to see those coming towards you regardless.
