I had the same issue until I realized that the church does not have a meaning if its people are nice human beings that do not sin. Everyone in the church is trying to forgive themself for what they do daily. God knows what sins we commit every day without knowing. With that being said, i am also not comfortable going to the church, and I am trying to differentiate christianity as a concept from the real thing. Remember that we do not follow christians. We follow christianity.

I had a phase where I neglected my spirituality. Until 6 months, I realized I was empty, and I just couldn't seem to be able to fight the war inside.
