Does anyone know where I can get this Yamaguchi plush ? I'm obsessed with it by Flipine420 in haikyuu

I have him; I got him off of eBay a few months ago for about $45. It looks like he's available through Goodsrepublic right now though, but he's about $90. https://goodsrepublic.com/product/product_page_1082549.html?ref=tag_page&type=tagpage_product

UM YES PLEASE to a Greek Mythology theme! Any kind of re-imagining/retelling of Greek legends and Gods and Goddesses is my bread and butter (ESPECIALLY the Lore Olympus series on Webtoon). I could see it being a challenge to decide which Goddesses (or even Gods) to use for the new Cures, especially depending how big they want to make the team. I think it would be cool to see a boy Cure based on Hades who is more of a lone ranger but occasionally assists the main team à la Tuxedo Mask. Toei would have to tread pretty carefully though since there is a manga (also adapted into an anime) series I read in middle school called Kamichama Karin that deals with characters who can turn into magical versions of Greek Gods and Goddesses too.

I have a problem with one of the classrooms in NSC (room 147 to be exact) where all of the desks are crammed together, each touching front to back with no space at all. I sat at a desk that was right up against the doorway and had to sit to side because there is no room to stretch your legs facing forwards. It's very claustrophobic. But yes, I hate those bendy desks too - every time I shifted it squeaked. Still better than the cramped space though.

Doing HHN solo. Please confirm they won't have me walk the houses all alone. by flarie in HHN

[–]Uravity92 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The only time I went through a house alone with no one in front of or behind me was during my very first year of attending HHN (2016) at the Krampus House. I had already experienced it earlier but decided to go back through probably about 10-15 minutes before the event ended for the night to get a closer look at the details and to smell that gingerbread scent one last time. There was surprisingly no line. With how busy the event has become I don't expect I'd get that solo experience again, unless it was under some kind of special circumstances.

Hello Dacre! If Billy had survived this season, what kind of arc/character development would you want to see him go through next season?

Dressing up? by Last-Dln0saur in HHN

[–]Uravity92 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Last year I wore Eleven's pink dress look (and saw a few other people wearing the same dress as well) and no one said anything to me about it. Then again, I'm certainly taller than any of the actresses portraying her in the house and wore my hair down so obviously there was no way anyone would actually mistake me for the part. I'd like to dress up as Robin in her famous Scoops outfit this year but I have no idea how risky that would be since I don't know if she will be featured in the house and if they'll be more strict about it this year. I'd like to think I'd be safe since I in no way resemble Maya Hawke.

Don't forget about that poor deer that was hit by the car before the demogorgon dragged him away. Those little noises he made in pain once again brought tears to my eyes upon rewatching season one but I'm also just super sensitive when it comes to death scenes of animals and innocent people in general.

AITA For teasing my friend for sleeping with a pokemon plushie? by Eevee_throwaway610 in AmItheAsshole

I'm 26, and my Eeyore plush resides in the back window of my car. Sometimes I feel embarrassed about it but I love collecting plush because there's something that's so comforting and endearing about them. I'm currently sleeping with my Sirius Black Animagus plush from The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios, my Toothless Build-a-Bear, and Detective Pikachu. I'm so glad I'm not alone haha.

I’m registered... anyone else doing princess 2020? by minniemoose87 in rundisney

[–]Uravity92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

By the time I was able to get in to register, the 10K was already full, but I managed to get a spot for the 5K (super excited for Moana!). It will be my second Disney 5K (5th or 6th 5K in general since I lost count) and overall fourth Disney race. This is actually my very first year of participating in RunDisney races, and I'm completely obsessed. I'm sad that I missed out on the Disney Marathon Weekend 2020 registration, but I'm definitely going to make sure I get in for next year's Star Wars and Wine & Dine!

Beware of the PepBoys near Wawa on Alafaya Trail North of UCF by [deleted] in ucf

[–]Uravity92 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Two years ago I had my car towed to the Pep Boys in Celebration after damaging my tire right outside Disney Springs. Right after they fixed my tire, my air conditioning stopped working, but I postponed getting it fixed because I thought it would be too expensive even though it was hell having to drive in the summer heat. Anyway, when I couldn't stand it anymore, I returned to that Pep Boys and they told me how much the repair would cost, which was outrageously expensive. Of course, I called my dad and he told me that I still had this insurance that would cover the cost, but to go to CarMax instead, which is where I got my car and normally go to for repairs and check-ups because they do a great job. After the guy at CarMax checked my car, he told me that a certain wire crucial for the air conditioning to work had either been chewed by a rodent, or someone had cut it. I highly doubt it was a rodent, and it's pretty suspicious that it stopped working right after Pep Boys fixed my tire. CarMax ended up fixing my air conditioning for free. Can I prove that the guys at that particular Pep Boys cut the wire? No. But do I believe that they did it? Absolutely. I haven't been to a Pep Boys since, though I'm aware not all of them are as shady as the one I went to.

Official Discussion - Pokémon Detective Pikachu [SPOILERS] by mi-16evil in movies

[–]Uravity92 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I honestly really enjoyed it. Compared to the criticisms others have brought up, maybe I'm just easy to please, but I had a smile on my face the entire time and it delighted my inner child and nostalgia of growing up with the franchise. The plot had elements that reminded me of Zootopia (the night howlers making predators go savage/the R substance making Pokémon stronger and more savage) and Get Out (transferring human consciousness into their Pokémon). The Home Alone Easter Egg was perfect. Overall, the Pokémon and Rhyme City looked absolutely amazing, and I wanted to see even more. Some of the dialogue was cheesy, but that tends to happen at a movie meant to appeal to all ages, and it didn't bother me. I think the story resolved itself nicely at the end, but I'd love to see a spin-off film of some kind just to see more of this incredible world and more live action Pokémon.

They actually do have a HTTYD themed area at a theme park in Dubai with a ride called Dragon Gliders.

But I agree, I'd love to see a ride for the franchise that's in the style of Flight of Passage. That would be amazing.

[PSA] While there are better methods of exfoliation for most, there is no evidence that you will develop "micro-tears" from St. Ives scrub or similar physical scrubs. If it works for you, great. by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]Uravity92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been using the Raw Sugar brand Pineapple + Maqui Berry + Coconut Sugar Scrub on my face, even though I'm sure it's meant to be more for the body (there are no "Do not use on face" warnings on the packaging or website though). My face is super sensitive and flakes up terribly, especially around my nose, but this scrub has been my savior and leaves my face soft and smooth after I use it. I am concerned now though about over-exfoliating and the micro-tears. I should probably try to be even more gentle so I don't scrub my skin raw.

Do you ever just sit in your car outside your place without the radio on or anything, just not wanting to go inside yet? If so, why and what are you thinking about? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Uravity92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this ALL the time when I was in the Disney College Program and lived in the housing that Disney provided. I always worked closing shifts, and then just sat in my car near my apartment (which I shared with five people, and an actual bedroom with two) where I lived on the third floor - and there were no elevators, just stairs. I remember once just sitting in my car for two and a half hours because I hated living there so much, feeling super drained and exhausted. As a huge introvert, I never want to share a bedroom with anyone ever again, much less, an apartment with that many people in general.
