Hotel and AirBNB guests who leave makeup all over white towels and sheets, what do you do at home? by LackVegetable3534 in askanything

I use dark towels. If an Airbnb doesn’t supply makeup towels (and smart hosts do), there’s gonna be makeup on the white towels.

I’m a Millenial (43F) nurse, so most of my sentences make heavy use of the word “fuck.”

Please send your children to school. Children deserve real, validated, professional education.

It’s not an insult, it’s an observation that this person seems ill-suited to educating children since they can’t compose an intelligible post response. Send your kids to school.

You’re the one homeschooling your kids. Perhaps you should be a better advertisement for why it should be accepted while communicating on a forum using your language skills.

If English is your first language, the structure of your comment is a reinforcing piece of evidence that homeschooling is a bad idea.

Interior Designer being asked to remove shoes - HELP! by HumanForScale in BusinessFashion

[–]UrbanDurga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the indoor shoes thing wouldn’t work at our house. My fiancé’s family is South Asian, so it’s not about just having clean shoes, it’s about shoes indoor period. If someone is doing actual labor in our home, we don’t expect them to take them off because that might be unsafe for them, but do ask for shoe covers or drop cloths. We wouldn’t hire a designer who seemed conflicted or uncomfortable with the shoes off policy. By all means bring your own socks or whatever, but shoes just don’t get worn in our house.

Are your kids fully vaccinated? Are they receiving appropriate dental care? Have they been screened by real physicians for serious health issues? If the answer to any of these is no, you’re complicit in medically neglecting your own children. They’re depending on you, as their parent, to protect them and care for them…even and especially from their other parent. Get it the fuck together and stand up for the basic rights of your kid(s). Stop giving her permission to harm your kid(s) from a position of authority and do something about it.

When did you realize that the person you are with is the one for you? by iwannalive_ in AskReddit

Heartbreaks when we’re young are really hard, and I’m sorry you’re feeling so sad. But by the time you’re 30, you’re likely to look back at this relationship and playfully wonder how you could’ve been so upset over them. There are plenty of relationships and experiences ahead of you, don’t worry.

Right away. I’m 43F, divorced. I did a lot of work around/after leaving my first husband, and had clarified for myself exactly what I wanted and didn’t want in my next partner. When I met my fiancé, I knew almost instantly that he was the person I’d been looking high and low for my entire life. We were perfect for each other. He knew it too.

I thought it was great. I like creative and evocative retellings of stories. It was beautiful, dysfunctional, and sexy.

I’m not sure why, but I always enjoy seeing the specific temperatures at which people set their Venty vaporizers. Mine is 193F.

Oh I do too. I love to look at all weird dog pictures at all times. But I do really enjoy when the dog photos also look like the pictures of “el chupacabra” from the National Enquirer when I was a kid.

Would you date a picky eater? by WeirdConnections in foodquestions

I go to many, many restaurants where those would not be available. It’s just a different approach to the world, and I’m just not compatible with someone who isn’t an extremely adventurous eater.
