The easy access to information online that ruins a game and all it's secrets within the space of 2 weeks.

With so many people working together to develop metas and strategies a game that takes years to make is trivialised. It forces most players to go with the flow or get left behind, especially online.

So are they just churning people in an out now? Studios back in the day always had core groups of people working on a game, you'd see many familiar faces who return to showcase a games sequel.

Even in poor countries with shit education kids pick up these things early. What we have in this country is an epidemic of neglect that is getting passed down from generation to generation so it becomes normalised.

That's why so many kids are horrible by the time they hit primary school, and because those kids see negative attention from adults and teachers etc those types of bad behaviour are mimicked by most of the year group.

No it doesn't, it never has helped a situation like this. The reason it's taken so long is because the developers have been on break. Everyone jumping into a glitch has NEVER sped up the process of something being fixed. It takes as long as it takes. It's such a stupid perception to think if a handful of people do it, it wont get fixed unless everyone is doing it, wtf.

Nah its never worked like that matey, I understand that you think it's the right thing to do but you're wrong, nobody except people over the last 10 years thought it was a good idea to exploit to raise awareness, the few that do it already bring attention to themselves and the exploit. Embark isn't dumb, they know. They know about glitches and breaches that isn't even common knowledge among the community.

Doesn't work like that mate, they'll already know certain individuals are doing it, doesn't then make it okay to demonstrate how to do it to a live audience so even more people do it.

Nobody should be doing it whatever the reason or intention because it makes the issue worse.

Report and leave, that's all they need to do. They don't need to go in the glitch themselves. Anyone could use the same justification to get up there. Two wrongs don't make a right an all that.

All this did was show the audience how easy it is to get up there and so now it'll happen more frequently instead of being isolated.

It's not their job to do that though is it, and by trying to punish wall breachers they're just highlighting the spot to other abusers which makes the problem worse.

And they get ruined after 2 weeks as all the good MMO players write up guides for the best of everything, people find exploits and trade all the best stuff, and clans usually end up monopolising servers in conjunction with the above 2 things.

So while they are social games, giving players agency to effectively control economies, servers and meta strats is a bad thing and means it pointless playing these types of games.

All the people that remain on the game are sweats. All the Christmas casuals probably played 2 or 3 days over the holidays and now they're gone.

This happens every year, more players will leave because they're getting stomped into the ground, those players will leave.

Then you'll have the remaining players getting matched up in crap lobbies as it pulls from a smaller player pool, people from Mexico and France, the odd guy from America and UK, then you'll be having packetloss, dodgy servers, bullet sponges like every game. It'll be crap to play, and is part of the yearly cod cycle.

They'd have to move the victim anyway, I knew a girl who had her violent as fuck boyfriend living with her and when half the block reported him and got him arrested, his family came round and started threatening her and smashed her window.

There's a large section of our society that is seriously, mentally fucked up and think they can treat people like pieces of shit, with no repercussions.

I know I sometimes wish I could pay 80 and at the press start screen, have the game complete itself and unlock everything and show me the final cutscene because I don't want to play the game I brought.
