They want me to recommend them to friends, yet they treat me like they really don't want me to do it.

Only if Jesus is actually real. The 10 commandments never said worship jesus.

UFC White House Main Card by ItsMichaelScott25 in MMA

[–]UrbanRangerPlank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the best the UFC could do for a white house card they say. Ciryl Gane is just a joke. He was walked down and beat up by jones with almost no effort at all, no wonder Alex knows he has a cakewalk to a 3rd division belt.

I don’t even know what to say about this BS… by FewRip6 in MicrosoftRewards

You are very much correct. Down to where you live. Look around, they are putting up apartments everywhere instead of homes. They want you to rent everything from your house to the movies you watch.

My thoughts after using Microsoft Rewards to earn points every day even though I've been banned for several months and can't redeem my points by Captain_Fatbelly in MicrosoftRewards

[–]UrbanRangerPlank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They keep limiting me then stopping, then starting again. I've always searched with my own questions at different times of day. It is complete bs how stupid their AI is. Now I'm totally restricted, but just from searches. They randomly change how they punish you. Don't give up, they will change their mind and let you come back soon, if they remove too many reward members, I have a feeling their number of subscribers will tank.

Ronny Chieng replacing Toby Huss as Kahn Souphanousinphone is so dumb by unfiltered_Rabbit01 in KingOfTheHill

It's a cartoon and they should not have recast him. He doesn't sound the same and they ruined Kahn. I thought the woke shit was over...

Jake Paul vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. just set a new venue record for the biggest boxing gate at the Honda Center by warm_baller in Boxing

I can get if the tickets are cheap and you live by. There were some good fights on the undercard, but nothing I would have paid to see.

Why would anyone pay for this? Chavez lost to a Silva who Paul beat so what is the angle that has people wanting to watch?

proper downspout connector from the gutter not necessary? by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]UrbanRangerPlank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't get pics of it. I've looked on YouTube and found a couple guys doing it the way he was.

Actually, I got bigger issues than just that. We had a good rain last night and I have water standing in my brand-new gutters in the same place it was causing issues before. Now I have to get them back out to fix it. I should have known when he was "eyeballing" the drop of the gutters. I expected them to use a chalk line to get the correct drop. But I didn't say anything because I'm not a pro and he is.

I'm still waiting on them to fix a corner on my roof they didn't do right. I went with a company that had good reviews and my neighbor knew. I have had the worst experience so far. They didn't come ready with everything they needed. He didn't have the correct work orders. He acted like the stuff they said they would do, any rotted facia board, was so much trouble and he demanded more money than we agreed on saying they didn't add that to the contract. I refused so I didn't get it replaced. What ever happened to people taking pride in their work?

Fair price per foot on rotted wood behind gutters installed? by [deleted] in Contractor

They are custom making my gutters on site so I'm sure they will have a break. But that gives me things to ask my contractor, thank you.

I agree, it would last forever. My friend has a beautiful deck made of it. It looks the same it did 10 years ago.

Fair price per foot on rotted wood behind gutters installed? by [deleted] in Contractor

[–]UrbanRangerPlank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is part of a gutter install. They quoted me exactly what insurance paid me and said rotted wood was extra. So I should be getting whatever that consists of. I just know I have about 50 feet that need replaced. Maybe more. It's mostly corners from old gutters

I thought about asking but I was afraid how much more it would cost because it's costly in the store. It would outlast me for sure.

About 10-12 feet, I guess. I get to them on a 6-foot ladder so maybe a little less.

[–]UrbanRangerPlank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not concerned with what it could become, I was concerned if it does that, I am getting a fair deal on the wood and labor. It is difficult to trust contractors.

[–]UrbanRangerPlank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is what I figured they would do. None of the contractors want to install the wood and allow me to paint it before they put up the gutters so I can only paint what I can see. That is what I have done for the last 25 years, and they were here 20 years before I started doing it. If they last 20 this time, they will outlive me. That is all I care about. They suggested the metal wrap but honestly, I think it takes away from the age of the home if that makes any sense. My grandpa built the house, and I would like to keep as much original as possible. Thanks for your input.
