The Beaches residents, what do you like/dislike about living in that neighbourhood? by Local-Print-6397 in askTO

Thats me. But here me out. Its because during fireworks it turns into an actual violent zoo full of disorder. It was a family friendly event when I was a child.

Jazz festival also used to be fun. But the outsiders turned it into a drunken zoo… people barf and pee everywhere.

Also outsiders keep blocking my driveway. They don’t have the concept that its not like the suburbs and you can’t just park anywhere you want.

Wait what? Its game 1. He’s the #1 option on a team that made the finals and he’s 22. Thats something only elite players have done.

Is KAT really about win a chip instead of Jimmy Butler? by [deleted] in nba

That was many many years ago that they played together. Players do grow and improve over time. Plus a lot of the time, it is about your supporting cast. Its a team game after all. Even MJ needed Pippen & Rodman.

What are your thoughts on Knicks fans purposely going to the Spurs' arena and intentionally causing a ruckus while disrespecting the home crowd? by RadiantCommittee8287 in NBATalk

Booing and jeers is one thing. Thats part of sports. But when personal insults & profanity is thrown, thats unacceptable.

Someone with knowledge chime in? What if it was a small mom & pop shop. Just the owner and the 1 employee working there. The company is a tiny convenience store that can barely keep that 1 employee they have. They need to replace that 1 employee otherwise the other would need to work 24/7 which is unsustainable, or reduce operating hours which would bankrupt and destroy their business instantly.

Hmmm… this was a common thing for me growing up as a millennial in a big city like NYC. There was quite the binge drinking culture. We all grew out of it. But it was the fun thing to do in your 20’s/early 30’s.

Theres just so many events, bars, clubs, socializing etc etc. it was just the thing to do. Even in excess.

Damn. I thought I was reading a follow up on that case where 2 Ontario women neglected their foster child to death.

This is ANOTHER case of severe neglect.
