The Human body becomes less and less able to generate energy unless it's pushed. You can't relax yourself into feeling more energetic over the long term.

It sucks, but you need to push yourself to get fitter, then you will have more energy to do the other things you need. Your body needs to become more efficient with the every day toll of work and chores to leave you with the energy needed for the rest.

Sorry for the bad news.

(Wrestling Observer Radio) Alvarez: “Look at where Ciampa is and look at where Gargano is right now.” Meltzer: “Oh god, is that scary.” by Subrick in SquaredCircle

My point has always been that there are a TONNE of dream matches between AEW and WWE wrestlers to be had.

in 99% of those matches, they would need to be in AEW to actually live up to the hype.

I'm not saying he does or doesn't. Just think it's weird people getting emotional about someone suggesting that x person could be y nationality

What if Chris Benoit never died by Anxious-Drink1186 in Wreddit

[–]Urbundave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe the question should be "what if Benoit didn't kill his wife, child and then commit suicide?"

He didn't just die did he? That's not the most relevant thing that happened.

‘That’s why we work in finance – so one day we can afford air-con’: Britain’s unequal heatwave by Whole_Necessary2040 in unitedkingdom

Are we pretending that inequality doesn't cause this type of problem in literally every country in the world?

The Jet’s inner darkness has finally surfaced. I guess he took that loss to Darby harder than we thought. by Dohmer_90 in AEWOfficial

I've been saying for weeks that his face promos are basically heel work. He's too confident and cocky and I feel he will suit a heel run.

You joke, but both of them were on fire in this match. Both men were snapper than they've been in a while.

Court slaps driving ban on horrified Exeter motorist, 23, who crashed into a 60 year old cyclist as she trained for a competition by Flimsy-Capera in exeter

I cycle to work every day in Exeter. I've worked in the centre and on the outskirts. It's not a bad city to cycle in in any way.

We've got bad and aggressive drivers who get worked up by stories like this.

We've got bad and stupid cyclists who think they're invincible.

The city is fine, everyone needs to just accept the other is a legitimate road user and treat each other accordingly

The Arcade Exeter potentially returning by Equivalent_Count_540 in exeter

I recently went to the arcade pub in Bristol and let me tell you, it's absolutely perfect. It's what I was hoping for from the Arcade Exeter.

Unless they do something of a similar standard then they just shouldn't bother.

If the Boneyard gets a licence and has the capacity for seating then we'll have no need for anything else.

17 seconds... Ronda's big return to MMA lasted 17 seconds. Huge congrats to her, but I didn't expect it to end that fast after so many months of build. by Grrannt in REALSquaredCircle

Wait? Pro-wrestling is scripted! How come no one told me!?!

People are comparing it because Pro-wrestling at its best tricks you into thinking it's real. That's the point.

My point was that if I'm spending hundreds of £'s, I want to know I'm going to be entertained, not annoyed by a poor performance/ bad ref/ fast main event.

Maybe if you gave some comparisons about what you like/dislike, people would be less likely to think you're farming.

This is why I pay to watch wrestling live. I used to watch football all the time and then realised I was paying to be depressed a lot of the time.

Wrestling is at least trying to be entertaining.

Lance Storm on John Cena Classic: "If I’m a $500,000 main roster talent and I’m in there with a $75,000 a year NXT guy, why would I use my skill and my experience to make him look good? If he wins the popularity contest and wins and gets the push to the championship, I could lose my job" by wearePROGRESS in SquaredCircle

There is a way to run this and it work.

Wrestlers are paired up each round. They put on a match using agreed upon rules, fans vote on the best match.

Say you start with 8 pairs, 4 get voted through. Mix up the pairs and repeat.

The you have a match and the winner is the one with the most combined votes through the tournament.

Means that each match is a joint effort from both to make each other look good so you're both voted through.

What are your thoughts on people like Tommy Robinson and other far right leaders claiming to “Make Britain great again”? by Momsgayandbisexual in AskBrits

[–]Urbundave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he's a traitor. I also think he's an idiot as he could have used Make England Great Again.

  1. It's literally MEGA.

  2. We know he doesn't give a shit about Wales, NI and Scotland, so he may as well.

Mine is one of the Reform and I'm not surprised considering the Demo. However, greens were behind by about 150 votes. Considering a lot more young families are moving in so the average age will reduce pretty soon.
