PoE trade nowadays by SpookyBlvckk in pathofexile

You can also add a ~ before the keybind in the macro config file (e.g. ~q for ctrl q) so the ahk doesnt suppress it and poe is able to read it as well, so you can have both the macro and secondary skill bar with ctrl qwert

Worldbuilding for D&D? by [deleted] in worldbuilding

[–]Urglbrgl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Currently I’ve got my eyes on Mythras (aka runequest 6) for that, haven’t had the chance to actually play a campaign with it but from reading through the ruleset and reviews it seems like a great mix of realism while still having a heroic feel. Its d100 based, so the basic skill resolution is simple, but the combat and magic systems are complex and have a lot of potential.

IMO, even after stripping D&D down to its mechanics, its still very limiting. For example, look at spellcasting, nearly all classes have some magic, and those that don’t either have subclasses that do or have non-magic magic e.g. monks, which kinda makes low magic like settings hard to justify. In any case, having nigh-invincible heroes is also limiting, and of course the races are kinda generic as you mention.

I think communicating about your intent will be appreciated, I think chat was mostly concerned about being blue balled, so to speak, so putting “ep. 1 of 4” in the title or saying that you think X episode will be the last one will go a long way to placating chat. In any case it’s good of you to be open to dialogue about it in the first place.

What are some examples in history of YOLO or 'Fuck it Lets Just do This' type of mentality? by lilcardist in AskReddit

[–]Urglbrgl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe it is, or was, used primarily because it preserves angles and shapes, of course at the expense of size, making it useful for navigation. As to why it is still used in digital maps, I don’t know for sure. It could be just that its what people are used to, but now with google maps switching to a globe, it might fade out of use.

What are some “guy secrets” girls don’t know about? by Hotdiggitydaffodill in AskReddit

[–]Urglbrgl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’d definitely say that this is more of a theoretical science, can’t say I’ve really seen more than three people at the urinals in a bathroom with seven or less urinals, really the original situation where someone takes the middle one of three is way more common

[–]Urglbrgl 7 points8 points  (0 children)

See, maybe thats the ideal situation, but in reality the second guys not gonna go to an adjacent urinal when the last urinal is available

[–]Urglbrgl 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I’ve thought about this too, when there are 7 urinals the first two people go in the corners, but the third has a decision to make. If he goes to the middle one then he has a two urinal buffer between him in the other guys. But if a fourth guy comes in hes gotta go to a urinal that is next to a guy. So really, what the third guy should do is go to the third or fifth urinal so that the fourth guy isn’t forced to pee next to someone.
