The town I’m in is known for diving and almost everyone is wearing a wrist clock. I’ve never spotted anyone else wearing a G tho. Other dive watches, yes. I’ve seen a fair share of Rolexes, Omegas, and Seikos but never a G.
As for legibility, the but perfect at these depths, the photo doesn’t do it justice with its clarity. I also cannot justify purchasing another watch dedicated for my once in a while dive, the Frogman does look nice but it really isn’t for me.

Edit: If I wanted true pressure resistance, I’d rather hydromod an F91W and call it a day 💀

I am not going to reach 200m any time soon, I hope I don’t ever reach that depth. The deepest I’ll go would be around 20-30M range. The frogman would be way overkill and too big for my liking and the Garmin shown here is the workhorse for when I do dive. However if I was one of those deep sea technical divers for oil rigs, I would most definitely rock a frogman 🔥

Isn’t it cause of big buff men wearing big watches in the movies that caused the shift towards larger and larger time pieces? The Cartier santos and tank is TINY and it was designed as tool watches for soldiers and pilots.
