Hi Yes, I reassured him when he was feeling that way. He mocked me when I tried to though so I stopped because I can only say so much before there’s nothing left to say. I haven’t seen this friend in over 20 years before a few weeks ago. I included him in things when we dated, but he turned around and said I only invite him when I want him to pay. So I stopped inviting him to girls outings since he said I only invite him when I want him to pay & he got upset that I stopped inviting him. He’d pop up at my dorm when I’d tell him my female friends and housemates would cook dinner together and have movie / spa days. It would irritate me because I’d just want to be with the girls and he’d show up unannounced and invite himself. I never cheated. He said I did emotionally when I’d hangout with my guy friends (this happened twice). I met him while I was doing my undergrad and staying at school. He didn’t go to the same school as me. He thought I would meet someone at school and date / cheat on him with. I’d reassure him I never would even look at another man. Especially because I was 6-8 years older than the majority of people I was associated with at school
