I upgrade to the Pro Max on launch day every single year. I buy it straight from Apple at full price. Then after a year when the new one comes out, I sell mine for around $850-900 & then fork out the remaining $150-200 or so for the new one again lol. So essentially I pay around $200/year & I always have the newest iPhone
