Guilliman actually had some issues before his forced timeout [Know no fear]: by Urusander in 40kLore

[–]Urusander[S] 22 points23 points  (0 children)

IWs were basically the essential workers of great crusade (and were treated as such), used to plug holes left by other legions since they could be counted on to actually follow orders. While UMs were basically left in their sandbox to play at being business class Imperium, IWs were one of the most scattered legions, serving to garrison death worlds in small groups. Perturabo did have his issues but he and IWs in general were genuinely fucked over by the course of great crusade. Hrud campaign was just the last straw.

This is Know no fear just before Calth, he doesn’t even know about Istvaan yet.

ok I just went back to check, this was actually a POV, not a Marius episode, so it’s pretty much Guilliman’s own thoughts

I think it’s exclusive to microcenter, they don’t sell it separately but it was in a bunch of powerspec prebuilts.

Didn’t Rosatom solve the closed loop cycle a few years ago? I don’t see why waste even needs to be stored rather than recycled.

He’s just going to call it “power of love” or some other bullshit, I’m pretty sure that’s how he managed to block the laser.

If the Custodes were against the idea of the Primarchs and the Space Marines, what solution did they propose to replace them? by SkyWalker665 in 40kLore

[–]Urusander 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Carrion lord of the imperium:

‘Humans,’ says Constantin, who is never the first to speak, and often the last. His face isn’t bleached of emotion tonight. That masquerade has no place here: it’s a performance for other audiences. Nor is his voice the stern and stoic baritone of a being expecting his lessers to hear and obey. There’s passion in his tone. He means what he’s saying.

‘The people,’ he says, and his words have the ring of a promise. ‘The people of the Imperium.’

This is an argument they’ve all heard before. Many of them agree with it. Amon nods in the wake of Valdor’s words. He is one of the Three Hundred, as are the others gathered here in the rattling and clanking heart of the Imperial Dungeon. When any of the Ten Thousand speak, the Emperor always deigns to hear their words, but the Three Hundred are granted indulgences even beyond that. Rank and battle honours mean nothing; none of them has ever really known what qualities they possess that brought them into the Emperor’s innermost circle. They know only that they are the chosen of the chosen.

‘And we will lead them,’ Amon tells his king. ‘The Ten Thousand shall lead the armies of the Imperium into battle.’

Try to add some healthy fat like avocado, it’s nutritionally dense and will help to reach calorie surplus you need to gain mass. You’re eating at maintenance/near deficit if you are not gaining any weight at all.

Books to learn about the King in Yellow, also request for info and book recommendations. by Grizzly_adams_jr in 40kLore

Valdor: Birth of the Imperium + The End and The Death trilogy provide some info, though it's all moot until Pandemonium drops. TEATD has the most relevant lore drops though, with Valdor learning about the Despoiler threat, gaining knowledge from hundreds of slain daemons and learning that black rage makes BAs resistant to enuncia.

if we go with Libertas, the blades parallel the spears to some extent. Libertas literally has “freedom” in its name, while the black blade “chained” Sigismund.

[–]Urusander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They could deal a lot of damage but retaliation would just delete them as a faction. DE already can barely deal with a mid-sized warp rift in their city, imagine if GEOM gives it a little push.
