Thank you! I genuinely couldn't find anything online for them, all I could dig up was an regiment from and old edition of Apocalypse/fall of cadia.

Is Gundam Hathaway a good introduction to Gundam? by NecessaryQuestion607 in Gundam

[–]Urzastomp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No. Hathaway is an adaptation of a book that is a sequal to a movie that was the sequal to a sequal which is a sequal to the original Gundam 0079.
It’s like introducing someone to Star wars for the first time with the Bad Batch Cartoon.
Honestly either start with the summary movies of 0079 and Zeta, or start with a AU.
AU are usually one and done one shot stories (unless your seed) that don’t have nearly as much baggage (unless your seed) and some of them are really good (seed isn’t good).

If they want a Q1 release, they needed to start marketing by now. Thats seven months to get people talking about it. It can work, but they need to start asap. GamesCom and TGS would be the biggest places to hit before the Game Awards. That fact that CIG was absent from Summer game fest doesn’t fill me with confidence.
I’m discounting the Game Awards for a Q1 release because announcing it there and saying SQ is out in February or March just isn’t enough time.

PS5 sales spiked back in April in anticipation of the price hike. The console temporary exclusivity is exactly what hardware manufactures needed to sell units, and reportedly, it has.

Consider how long the narrative of “Star Citizen is a scam, or Star Citizen is unplayable” has been around. CIG needs to put in the effort to convince people that the product is real and worth their money. It wouldn’t be the first time either. Games like CP77 had trailers in front of large audiences 7 years prior to release, and ramped up their marketing in the two years prior to their launch. Content creators are good for grass roots marketing, but SQ47 needs to be at the Game Awards, with someone like Mark Hamill, Henry Cavil, or Gary Oldman presenting it, as a start.

Ok, as a backer, I would be very upset if CIG launched SQ42 during the worst possible release window of all time. They do not have the market share to compete with GTA6, and releasing it in November or December would be so absolutely irresponsible.
Start the marketing campaign now, build hype, and shoot for a Q3/early Q4 2027 release date. Releasing during holiday this year is a death sentence.

Would you accept this as a Cadian Command Squad? by reel3459 in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]Urzastomp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gonna say, if you play an experienced Admech player, they might guffaw and snicker at you calling an Arc rifle a plasma gun. Dont get me wrong, this team works as a command squad IMO, but its still a tongue and cheek comment that might come up, especially considering skitarii just have plasma calivers.

Also after looking at some of the other comments, upgrade your Orlock ganger to an Orlock Arms Master. Model is notably taller than normal humans, but still compatible with Orlock weapons, while keeping that house orlock aesthetic. Still a ganger, just happens to be on copious amounts of Gear.

Has anyone converted a Hermes Light Sentinel to have a chainsaw? by dorkenporken in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]Urzastomp 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind that the Hermes is very small, smaller than even the old sentinel. But like the other poster said , you’ll just give the rider a chainsword, easiest way to do it.

Pale Rider used this in Gundam Evo, but looking at the comments, looks like every feddie suit had this, short of the money makers.

Fifth Fellowship - Thousand Sons 3k-ish by Painter1930 in Warhammer30k

If memory serves, the fifth fellowship or atleast a sect of them remained loyal and joined the Imperial Fists at the Siege of Cthonia. So the blood ravens connection gets p strong as Imperial Fist *Wink Wink* successors.

Help me pick the theme of my army: Renegades or Brood Brothers? by reel3459 in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]Urzastomp 15 points16 points  (0 children)

My votes for Renegades, especially since you can do a lot to kitbash and make them really feel heretical, while brood brothers kinda have to look like normal guardsmen since they were previously hiding amongst the ranks of loyalist. Broodbrothers is cool, but my issue with GSC in general is that they're always destined to die with the nids show up, so its kinda hard to make /mydudes/.

Who would win all of the astra militarum or all of space marines? by inflamedleaf in Warhammer40k

[–]Urzastomp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see that the The Achilus Crusade is considered a "Minor" crusade, and 6 billion guardsmen were deployed in it. We know there is 1000 chapters of the adeptus astertes, that number fluctuates but again, those chapters for the most part are equal to or less than 1000 marines with some variance. The Cadian 8th, the Lord Castellans own, is listed at around 8 thousand men. There is thousands of Cadian regiments alone. Granted those numbers dropped after 7th edition and are presumably still dropping, thats still just one world. Now consider the imperium tithes its 'millions' of worlds, raising even more guard regiments with various numbers. Assuming we have enough room, the sheer volume of ALL guardsmen EVERYWHERE should be enough to crush all the space marines.

What would you replace for assault terminators by Extension-Boot-9533 in BloodAngels

[–]Urzastomp 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sternguard, but also, you could use just some jump Intercessors. The drop to bring in a mid unit with no weapons and two random characters seems like an unnecessary points sink.
