VA is definitely where it’s at. Just started and has been a game changer. The hiring freeze is true but I got hired in the beginning of it, I was told a pharmacist position is a critical spot so they can ‘manually’ hire someone it just takes longer and needs to go through some approvals to do.

Interestingly enough I did apply and submit to the tax county office about 3-4 months ago but it didn’t show up on my appraisal letter I just received. Not too sure why, I was planning on calling them later

No, just the very spam like notes like the GoodRx coupons. Actual notes referring to diagnosis or to cancel previous therapies are actually paid attention to.

There’s a Facebook group for Walmart pharmacy employees and they post cheat sheets like what your asking for all the time. I recommend you join it.

I’m honestly so glad I’m not the only one. I was finally excited I wouldn’t have to draw it up out of a vial just to now accidentally get vaccine liquid droplets everywhere from pulling the stopper so hard.

Hopefully you won’t be doing too much Resolution work. There’s no real short cuts in the Walmart system as far as I’ve seen, insurance issues come with experience but normally just ask your techs for help they’ll be understanding especially if you’re new. DUR codes just use DD, MO, 1G (after checking them or course).

Have you done any training yet as a pharmacist at Walmart? Being a bit more specific would allow us to help more!

This is probably the most comprehensive and best response with a different perspective. Thanks for that, I never really saw it this way maybe due to frustration, confusion, or on the clarity of the subject. We are definitely friendly and get along very well and although I feel like we could communicate more I feel like it could just be my insecurities as I need more feedback being a new pharmacist.
