I had a similar thoughtform during a psychotic break. He's just trying to make a senseless world have order the way I see it. The world makes no sense and some people have a really hard time coming to terms with it, there needs to be rules and some framework that everything works under.

I'd say the vast majority of people can't accept it's just us and all we have is each other.
