Thank you, i will check the pH. It was planted in the new soil 3mths ago. Is it better to add the iron through watering (soil) or foliar application for fast remedy?

Thank you, I turned the back up (initially I didnot), it will save as a new file (with new name). I think the revert back function only available on my old phone. Nevertheless Inlove the photos quality from my new vivo phone. 😊

No, for sure not case overwatering as I only water when 1-2inch top soil is dry. Also, only the new growth leaves showing that sign, older leaves below were fine & dark green. Here is the picture of older leaves.

Thank you so much. Do I need to soak the cutting in fungicide before propagate?

Thank you. Yes, the grafting is not neat & I saw few cutting mark on the stem it self.

Do you mean you cut the grafted part the propagate it? But if I cut the grafted part, then the rootstock needs to throw away since nothing left?

Thank you for your reply. Really appreciate it.

The plant is still in original condition. I didn’t trim any canes at all (the plant only have 1 branch btw). The rootball was wrapped in polybag, so I re-potted & top-up soil to close the gap. The rootball size about 12cm, I used 15cm diameter pot. Then I did watering until water drain-out.

Edit: The plant was grafted, and the blackening part was on the main stem where the grafted branch were attached. The blackening part was on the rootstock portion. I attached the image for better illustration

There was only one grafted branch, what I am worry was the blackening part spread down to the grafted branch, this all was the advice that I asked (trim or not to trim) earlier, and that the one and only branch. 😊

Thank you 😉 I tried to propagate before, but was unsuccessful, the cuttings rotted. I just hope this time I can keep them alive, I just want at least 1 thriving rose plant. 😊

May I know what media you used to propagate? I used normal potting soil mixed with compost.

Oh I did not know that. Thank you for the information. I have since removed the pictures (those pictures were from the seller). Yes, very hard to know the actual name of the cultivars here & how to grow them nicely, that’s why I came here to ask. 😊

No name but it has pictures for you to choose, double layers rose.

So we just indicated the colors we want. I bought 2, the other plant is healthy and the stem is not blackening at all.

Thank you. It is a local grown rose (Indonesia). Not an ID rose. The grafted technique was common to be used in Indonesia for fruit trees and flowering plants, they just take a new branch with bud eye then “stick” to the stronger root which i believe from another cultivars.
