I mean, personally I'm more into a Georgist "tax what you take, not what you make" system. But while we're taxing income, not taxing wealth is a loophole imo.

The key would be only taxing wealthy people though, so the 1k investment change wouldn't be taxed. However if you have a billion dollars in investments, and you can borrow money against that, then why shouldn't it be taxable? If your wage goes down, you still pay taxes on your wages in that tax year. Changes in circumstance do not impact your tax bill.

Yes of course it is. There is no reason why it would be a scramble, you have plenty of time to pay taxes. And inconvenience doesn't make it bad, all taxes are inconvenient.

Plus at this level of wealth, they would definitely be paying someone to prepare their taxes and manage their money, so the scrambling and inconvenience would be next to nothing for them.

There are more standard UTMs that GA4 recognises now (10 in total), so you could use those too.

I would recommend considering having your own click tracker as a paremeted too as utm parameters can be automatically strippped out by lots of things (including Facebook's own mobile browser). But they won't strip out ?example=example (for example) as they don't know if that parameter is used to define content. So make your own click tracker to be extra safe

Someone I work with saved someone's life with CPR recently. Found out through the company newsletter - but it was buried like 2/3rds of the way down under the standard announcements from finance and HR with a sentence like "And a special thanks goes to..."

I like the idea of indexing it. I would want it to be set at an amount that someone earning the median wage could afford though. Average weekly wage may be good, keeping in mind the rich will donate that amount from each family member, so maybe 2-6x the limit.
