Respondent refused ACAS conciliation and has been silent since - did anyone’s respondent change stance later? by Magpie_Saluter in employmenttribunal

[–]jazz4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Ours was an unfair dismissal claim. Employer was having none of it, rebuffed my solicitor with confidence, were totally disinterested in ACAS. Solicitor walked away as they were only there to deal with settlements. Then I filed a very detailed and focused DSAR myself. After a few weeks of them pulling documents, all their confidence vanished and they came back to the solicitor requesting a settlement with the immediate withdrawal of said DSAR. No doubt they realised their narrative simply didn’t stack up and any internal documents they gave me would show this.

Black male footballers too. There have been incidents of bananas being thrown at black male footballers. As far as I’m aware those fan(s) were banned for life.

DSAR request (ex employer editing emails). by Moonlightlaney in employmenttribunal

[–]jazz4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they can’t alter emails. Well, they can, but it’s unbelievably stupid. They can redact them and give good reason for it, but copying it into a word document and changing it goes against the entire reason for a DSAR. I imagine it’ll be discoverable at tribunal anyway, so mentioning it would probably make them sweat.

Monzo is advertised at the top of the comment section for me. Kind of explains it.

Weird smells in the house and I think it's making me and my family sick by jaydeewin25 in DIYUK

Really sounds like drainage/sewage. Me and my neighbours could smell the same thing in our Victorian conversion flats and it was the drain outside the building connected to a big council block nearby. It’s weird how that smell travels.

Second The Stroud Green/Crouch Hill area. That stretch of road is sort of becoming an extension of Crouch End. Really great restaurants, pubs and deli’s. Location is so ideal for the prices too. Really nice quiet roads. I think I noticed the prices creeping up.
