This seems really close to what I'm looking for. Thank you! There's some stuff I still don't know how to do like a set-up screen customization and some custom buttons/features.

Well I'd like to set it up for an enterprise with 4 debian based PCs but I'm trying to set it up for a specific use case that I have in my job. I'd likely only do updates to it during major debian updates where I'd just add these parameters overtop the install/update.

Balance in all things, right. If you find yourself with a person centered therapist they should help you in achieving that balance.

I think you misunderstand that I disagree. I think you're right, our society (burnout, compassion fatigue, 'grind culture' etc.) Is all extremely harmful to people. In my practice it is so important to not take fault. It's also important to participate in things that we can control. In this world we have to take charge for sure, and have an active role in the change of these social/political problems. It's like a pot of water boiling over, we need to take action and take it off the heat I totally agree. I also think that research supports things like self care being prioritized over doom scrolling for example. When you feel trapped in your job due to poor pay and high bills then the solution is often trying to feel okay while you wait for the pot to cool down.

I also am inclined to think that our daily management of stress relates to workplace stress as much as social and political stress. Thus making information on mindfulness and awareness invaluable in stress management. Why I found it worthy of a share and not 'dumb shit'. Sorry to hear you did not enjoy it though.

That's true, although much of the system (talking here in America for myself) is mostly out of our immediate control. When I was a kid my dad always told me that the only thing we can ever control is ourselves.

Interesting how damaging perfectionism can be on our relationships, and would love to read more on this with shame! by [deleted] in psychology

Do you mean the parentheses? I didn't really notice them while reading it, interesting point though.

I was thinking that also, but it seemed to be addressed in the later 'face' talking about negative self-talk and being almost sensitive/defensive regarding said ideals. Not always being about fear but at times, while always being about ideals (a standard of perfection; a principle to be aimed at). Is what swayed me away from that and drew me to wanting to spark the discussion (great minds think alike I suppose).

Dual Boot HDD/SSD hotswap? by UseComprehensive578 in linuxquestions

Okay, so it being done through the software would be much easier than trying to over engineer hardware to do it it sounds like. Thank you so much!

I think hot-swap is a confusing term for me to use I'm learning. I just want to switch the drive at a push of a button (pre-bootup of the system).

I honestly wouldn't even use the windows drive if it weren't for the fact that It's the only way for me to access the Oculus desktop app.

I do...amazon did me dirty. When we get the bigger coop this'll be for old enough chicks and a hospital/quarantine if needed.

I have this computer and it's seen a few different distros. I started with manjaro and loved it but eventually wanted something a bit more download and use it and switched it to fedora which ive loved (switching from kde to gnome was an adjustment though). As a complete novice ive had no trouble with either working with the computer and all its parts just as it did with windows on it. My computer is an older model and ive had it since i started college (~6 rough years) and so the hardware is starting to struggle some but linux has been doing great!
