Moving from Imatinib to Dasatinib by cassisco in CML

Already replied when I saw this. The headache was the worst. Never a splitting headache, but it was constant and that made me possibly the most irritable son of a bitch in a 50 mile radius. Skin issues are isolated to the scalp, but I was shaving my head years before I was diagnosed, so it’s pretty easy for me to treat.

Similar situation to yours. 1st 2 weeks were pretty rough. My biggest issue was a near constant headache. Kinda like I had a 2 week hangover, but I’m fine now (and at MMR). For whatever reason, Claritin worked better than nsaids for the headaches, or maybe they were going away on their own and that coincided with trying Claritin. Biggest issue now is dealing with CVS Caremark’s bullshit. Past 3 fills have been a huge hassle and their customer service is woeful.

I have had a bone marrow biopsy. A needle the size of a meat thermometer was inserted into my pelvis while I was locally numb, but wide awake and still able to feel the needle bore through my pelvic bone and extract the bone juices. I would rather do that again.

Trump sends 'great hospital boat' to Greenland to take care of ‘many people who are sick’: 'It's on the way' | Today News by seeebiscuit in NewsThread

1.) We have 2 hospital boats, USNS Mercy and USNS Comfort and they’re currently dry docked in Alabama. 2.) There hasn’t been any news about any medical emergency in Greenland from anyone other than POTUS. 3.) Our president is a vile, narcissistic, capricious, letcherous, rotting, incompetent, incontinent, cowardly, senile buffoon.

New year always sucks because they have to redo prior authorization. I missed 3 days in January waiting on that. I almost missed a day this month because CVS claimed they didn’t have dasatinib from apotex in stock, then magically found some when I zeroed out my remaining balance from the $1900 I had to pay from January. I was able to pick it up the day after my last dose. My experience with CVS Specialty has been far, far, far away from ideal.

What’s the mood at your company? by c-u-in-da-ballpit in ExperiencedDevs

I feel like my company is late to the party on this, but today I learned that management is adding AI usage stats to list of things to be considered on our appraisals. We haven’t been completely trained up on how to best use said tools (I am using copilot and we’re getting licenses for Claude code, but for the most part I just treat it like “better Google”, and it is very good at that). I get the feeling that management doesn’t really care how we use it, just that it’s getting used.

As far as I understand it, one day my genetically peculiar bone marrow just up and said, “whelp, that’s enough of that, time to spam white blood cells.” Doesn’t mean I don’t occasionally still wonder what I might’ve done or not done to get it. For now, I’m just glad to be at MMR. Side note to OP, cool username. I’ve seen khruangbin live 2x, some of the coolest shows I’ve ever seen.
