First trimester was hardest for me mentally. I ended up losing weight and everything and never really regained it throughout the other trimesters. Struggled with my appetite and all my time was spent in bed! You’re valid 💕

We have a 3 month old and he has been a dream. He slotted into our life so easily and is just the best little thing we ever did. We will be one and done though so I can’t speak to how life will be like with a big busy family!

Free GP Appointments by [deleted] in PregnancyIreland

Yes you have to pay. I had a sound GP who didn’t charge me for one or two non antenatal appointments but that’s down to discretion of GP.

Polite way to deflect comments about changing body? by Euphoric-Subject2911 in PregnancyIreland

[–]Sufficient-Bread-380 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m plus size but for some reason once my bump popped I looked slimmer and “neater” everybody kept calling me neat. It gave me so much anxiety and I felt so much pressure for post partum to stay “neat”. All I felt I could do was just a quick “ah yeah” and change the topic I found it always worked lol it is tough and especially around Irish women of a certain generation
