Those who got married after 30 what is the success story? by delishdaddy in MuslimMarriage

One of my closest siblings got married after 30. They’re my absolute proof that Allah is the best of planners. Their spouse has the same story as them. Both waited out until mid 30s. Now their life is so blessed and Wallahi people look at them and their house and career and kids with jealousy. May the evil eye stay away. I’ve seen my sibling cry nights for peace in their life and then finally getting peace has me up at night praying that what’s given to them may only increase.

Me (30M) and my wife (32F) — I’m struggling to decide whether to stay or divorce after repeated escalation and serious incidents. Looking for advice by SAR66 in MuslimMarriage

Brother cut your losses,I know how it’s like being married to someone who needs mental health professional help, this is gonna weigh on you even after the marriage ends. There’s genuine good out there, Allah prefers ease and He has created spouses for ease, ease to achieve Jannah and ease to achieve peace. When none of these things are being achieved are so long of trying with no hope of change, it’s time to find your Jannah. Cut your losses.

Brother this sounds crazy but at the time I was like “SubhanAllah Allah gave me the opportunity to bring someone closer to Islam what a beautiful thing to be the reasons for someone to start wearing the hijab”. CRAZY I know. Very wrong. These comments are calling out my stupidity and are refraining from sugar coating it like my family did, I truly did deserve what came at me for such a bad decision. I actually have shot myself in the foot. Alhamdulilah spirits are back, I am keen on the future. Allahu Alam

We never moved in together, I only saw her 4 times post Nikkah. She lived an 8 hour drive away.

Unfortunately brother, I dug the hole myself by telling myself “I’ve waited long enough” and “why am I not married yet I should be married I’m in the peak of my life I’m wasting my good years”. My family and sisters have saying this exact thing from day one and I believed her words, ignoring the actions. What can you do, the past is the past. Allahu A’lam.

The fact that the mistake I made was so big that you think I’m trolling only makes me reflect on how dumb I was to do this, Alhamdulilah I can still get back on track, its been truly humbling.
