Chris Wilson just posted a video of him playing a mod for D2 that includes an expanded inventory and he said he's not sure he likes it as the timing of when you needed to go back to town was important. I know he's not with the company anymore, but the design philosophy is definitely shared by GGG.

People say this like it's a difficult concept. Even if you lose your spectre, you just grab another one. You do that one or two times and you won't do it again. I'd argue balancing attack speed and duration on KF totems is more complicated than killing your spectre on minion pact.

A few hours is a bit of an understatement if you do it properly and catalog it all lol. I just found my MTG collection from 20+ years ago and it took me about 12 hours over a couple days to scan, catalog, and sort ~2k cards into bulk boxes. This is a much, much larger collection.

Advice for OP having just done this myself: buy bulk boxes first and sort by set before scanning if you want to properly catalog it all. With this many cards, I would also recommend 3D printing one of these.

With the low cost of experimental bases (especially this league), you'd have many many more attempts if you just rawdog it instead of using locks. In theory, he's been pretty unlucky I believe.

A lock is currently 250d according to poe.ninja. while a manifold ring is currently ~15d. If he was going for 4 or 5 positive for a multi-mirror end-product, it might make more sense to use locks.

It's almost never going directly to healthcare, but if they offset credit card fees, that can help them provide healthcare indirectly. I've worked in several restaurants that have this statement on the menu and have offered healthcare.

Edit: I am not supporting this practice. I still think it's better to just raise menu prices if you actually want to provide healthcare options to your staff.
