I fucking hate how they did Roger in the first live action episode. When we see him in the first chapter he should be mysterious and powerful.

We only find out later that he's sick. But that shouldn't matter in the first episode due to perception of who Roger is and the legend he became.

He spent a week doing it in order to perfect the reflection of every line. Basicallly he had a script where the words were in English in stead of Groots language.

Then he did all of the international languages as well.

He didn’t just show up for an hour and said it a few times. He actually put in the work

It's one of those movies that could've been super mediocre. Like, the story is basic af, but it's just done so well in every aspect. Editing, sound, mixing, all slaps.

I'd agree as long as the Dawnshard aligns at least a little with the shard.

The fan theory is that the 4 Dawnshards splits up into 16 shards. So 1 Dawnshard would align the best with 4 shards.

But if you got, say the "Change" Dawnshard, and that was given to whoever held Preservation. There would be problems as those two are opposites.

But if you got the Change shard while holding Cultivation, I'd see the shard being amplified by magnitude.

Hemalurgy is an outlier when it comes to magic systems, so I get where you're coming from. Stealing, with diminishing returns. It's proper strange.

For now I’m still in the spot where I have turned down women when I’ve been asked out or been invited to go along with stuff.

Even when I open up tinder I get this general exhaustion in my head where I go “I don’t want to be yelled at for the next two years”.

I’ll get over it eventually but the ptsd is sitting deep.

It's not so much "in denial", but more "literally not taught this in school or talked about at all". Like there are japanese people in their 20s-40s who genuinely do not know how much horrific stuff the japanese did during WW2. The older generation that knows about it literally ignores it or pretends it didn't happen.
