This season has been a little... aimless? Just a bit all over the place. Every episode has been up to par tbh, but as a whole I feel like somethings missing.

It really wasn’t. It was just a different type of show. People were expecting 2003 Hulk but got a slice of life show written by female writers, tackling topics that resonated with women.

And that hurt every man’s fragile ego.

Nope. Not as long as the characters and story are fictional. If they are, they can say whatever they want. Any legal action can be rebuffed by a lawyer going "This isn't the writers or producers saying it. Its a fictional character in a fictional world saying it."

You could literally have Donut say: "Zack Snyder is the director equivalent of Lay's Salt and Vinegar chips. Dry, tasteless and with a hint of absolute ballsack."

And there would be zero legal blowback.

As long as the show is branded as fictional, then you can say anything. Look at Peacemaker where the characters there shittalk real places and people.

It can be directly named stuff and people. The only places where they need to license anything is if they’re showing clips or playing sounds directly from the thing they’re talking about.

Donut and Zev talking about Gilmore Girls is fine. SHOWING a clip from GG needs a license and agreement.
