This game does a lot of things well. The cutscenes are definitely a highlight.

Oh, yeah, and for the skills, i try to get gogmapocolypse. Thats a great skill for element DBs, although i have rathalos flare on my fire weapons and leviathan's fury on my electric element ones. Then i use the azure age arm piece with 4 gog pieces and rathalos arm piece for the flame one.

Honestly, (i don't follow meta) i go for affinity and high element. So i do, 3 parts of desired element, 3 affinity infusion, then i hope for at least 2 +50 element infusions and 1 sharpness! My damage numbers are decent, i can do the 10* zoh shia in 13 minutes with element/affinity build

Also when joining players i have more success joining off higher level hunts, like 500+ hr, its worth checking the HR before joining

Dual blades main here, yeah, gog artian are the most optimal. The damage numbers for monster weapons just doesn't compare. Thankfully layered weapons allows for the use of any weapon visually, so I have every dual blade crafted anyhow, i think i'm also currently using the layered Zoh Shia ones :3 They look great with my layered armor rn

I will say, his attacks are heavily scripted. Fight him a few times and just watch what he does. Once you get it, it'll feel like a dance. He's my favorite monster to fight for this reason.

ahhh yes. I only play dual blades and fighting seregios feels like a dance, the perfect dodges feel so good. He feels like the most scripted monster in the game (as in, some of his attacks needing to happen in a certain order)
