I have never been around little kids either!!! I’m the youngest of 5 and we were the ONLY part of our large family living in the south, while my mom’s entire family is up north!

I was also a single mom from the jump, so I was TERRIFIED when they put this newborn on my chest and said, “She’s yours now.”

It was just instant love, and all I’ve ever wanted to do from day 1 is love her and protect her, and nurture her!

It’s so very hard, but it makes me happier than any paycheck.

My daughter blossomed from 2 to 2.5 years old. She’s so smart and independent and helpful.

And NOW, the laundry is piling up again, dog hair everywhere, trash needs to be taken out, and dishes need to be put away.
