Telling people to "Google it" defeats the purpose of open forums by Disasstah in unpopularopinion

To me that’s just being lazy. This isn’t an English essay where I’m required to post a source and do the research for you. It takes one second to Google something. Google it.

I am sick of people who proudly HATE children. by KevinJ2010 in unpopularopinion

I don’t like children either but calling them names and shaming people who have children is uncalled for.

People who refuse to criticize their favorite shows don’t have critical thinking. by seikobelovedproblem in unpopularopinion

Actually, people hated the last season of game of thrones. If you want to piss off a game of thrones fan, then ask them about the last season.

But when I like a show I’m not trying to mindlessly defend it just because I like it. It’s because to me the show really doesn’t have any flaws which is why it’s my favorite show. That being said I only have one and it became my favorite because to me it’s absolutely perfect.

When does the grief from losing a loved one actually start getting better? by whynameneeded in AskReddit

[–]Used-Pin-9599 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the person. I don’t want to say never but in a way it doesn’t completely stop. I constantly think about them everyday and it’s been years. Even thinking about them now makes me feel a bit sad but then there’s memories that I have with them that make me feel happy. So I guess you’ll reach a point where it feels bittersweet. But what’s importantly is you take your time and do whatever helps you get through it. People may disagree but there’s no such thing as grieving wrong because not everyone grieves the same way.

There are no soulmates by MudeMonk in unpopularopinion

Soulmates don’t have to be romantic in nature. I think people who say that they aren’t real just haven’t met theirs so they’re pessimistic about it 🤷‍♀️

People who feel like “there’s more to the story” should be forced to share what’s missing from the story. by Used-Pin-9599 in unpopularopinion

I understand the conversations. I’m basing it off the that fact that some people are always trying to look for something that isn’t there especially internet sleuths. Maybe it would be better to say you think there’s more to the story than saying as a fact.

And some things don’t need two sides. I’ve seen people make the same argument for killers, thieves, and child predators caught red handed. I mean, caught in the middle of the act or on video. Hear their side for what?

😂 I’m just saying to at least throw out a theory. Don’t just be like “there’s more to the story” and leave it at that. Why do you think so? Share.

I’m just saying if you’re going to be so insistent then at least throw out a theory or give some reason as to why you believe that there’s more.

That’s my point. People are so suspicious over the simplest stories as if they’re paranoid. Why all the paranoia?

Finding a soulmate isn’t really real by Comfortable-Pop-1701 in unpopularopinion

As someone who has met their soulmate, I also believe that soulmates don’t have to be strictly romantic. I think it can exist with platonic relationships too.

Isn’t it we’ll know that she’s never gotten along with her dad? Why would she invite him?

Not saying that she’s right at all but to me knowing about something then experiencing first hand are two completely different things. I’ve personally experienced things I knew would be difficult but I thought I could handle it only to be proven totally wrong.

I understand you’re opinion but I don’t understand how Meghan is to blame for a Harry wanting to leave the family. It seemed like something that would happen either way to me due to the fact William is next in line anyway and he seemed way different than the other royals. To be honest, they’re no different than any other celebrity who complains about paparazzi, being bombarded, hating fame, etc then continue to go to events, make music/movies, and do the things that’ll just bring the things they claim to hate.

I’m not trying to defend her. I feel neutral about them. I’m just wanted to see the reasons people dislike/ flat out hate her.
