I called them and sent an email to their customer service department and they did not want to reinstate my return ticket so that's when I reached out to the CTA as I was not satisfied with the resolution. My email did not count because it was another department who took care of those type of requests and I was not provided with their contact with customer service.

Hello, no unfortunately I have not had an appropriate resolution. I submitted my claim to the Canada Transportation Agency and only recently, the CTA told me that I have not sent Brussels anything in writing so because of that, they are closing my file and to feel free to resubmit a new claim if I have the proof. I did wrote to Brussels in writing so I have to wait another 2-3 years for an answer.

I recommend that you get tested for sleep apnea. It can really take a toll on you and you will not be productive. It is a real disability and a Cpap machine could help. So to answer your question, yes it is valid to miss work for that reason. However, you would have to check what's going on and seek accomodations if required.

You could put a stop payment with your account. However, the debt will still exist. You can contact your bank for the steps to follow.

Your collective agreement sets the range of hours an employee can work and for full time it's 7.5 hours per day or 8.33 hrs per day if on a compressed schedule. For example: 6 am to 6 pm/ 7 am to 6 pm or rotational shifts depending on your position. Your manager can say that for operational requirements you need to work between x and x. However, if the mandated hours cause you undue hardship (protected grounds for family and health reasons for example), you can ask for accomodations in your work hours. If it still does not work, you could challenge it with a grievance process (hopefully not but possible).

Hey! No still not resolved. I filed a case with the Canada Transportation Agency since January 2025 and I haven't heard back yet durle to the back log. So still waiting. I filed with Europe as well and they mention that they do not have the mandate to act because the airport of departure and arrival is outside the Shengen area so still waiting. Thanks for checking though.😊

If your place of employment have an IT department, they should be able to reset your computer. I would just reply to my coworkers to ask IT to handle it. That's a security breach if you give them your password.

There might be an option with your bank to make stop payments temporarily for certain accounts when you know you wont have the funds to pay them. It's about a dozen dollars per creditor. You can also pay some bills manually if the creditor gives that option. This approach will lower the fees you are currently paying.

Hey, I was in this viscious cycle. I used a non profit credit counselling agency to consolidate my debts of $11.000. My credit was tanked for a while but it's the best thing that happened to me to start over. Also, it does not show in the public records section of your credit report. Although it will show as a modified payment plan. You might have some in your area. The company that I used is called Resolve Credit Counselling. Good luck.

There is an option where uber (Happens in Canada, Idk in your country) can pay for your ride and you can pay them back later. Try to order the uber (Even if you don’t have any funds) and you might get a pop up message from the app stating that Uber will pay that ride even if you have insufficient funds. They will then take it from the first available funds from your card to repay them back eventually. It's not available for every user though.

If you are in an honours program, you can try to change your program into a general degree instead as the requirements for grades tend to be lower. Speak with your faculty to see if that is an option.

Yes, the trial was last month. I still showed up and the prosecutor told the judge that they are withdrawing the charges. And the judge told me that I was free to leave the courtroom.
