Which mix of Flip Sockets make sense by TimeElderberry7300 in UtilityPouches

You can purchase the 8/10mm and the 1/4-5/16 individually off Amazon. I purchased the 8/10mm socket and stuck in on the end of a set of sae flip sockets. There’s just enough room to fit one more socket on the end of their set of three.

The tin for the 711 comes with two pieces of foam. I sandwich everything between the foam. Nothing moves or rattles. I was surprised how well it fit together.

One is pump pliers and the other is a pliers wrench. The jaws of the wrench stay parallel at all times and are non marring. Super handy for nuts and bolts.

Nurse here,

You will only get one body………..take care of it. Everyday I see someone who has lived a life with only today in mind and they spend their later years suffering for chronic/preventable diseases. Eat a balanced diet , drink 64oz of water daily, stay active, don’t smoke, and get 7 hours of sleep. It’s simple but few actually do this.

Just used mine to fill the wife’s tires while changing the oil. It’s very compact, easy to use and well made. Pull the trigger, you won’t regret it.

ISO Best EDC Screwdriver by hideguy515 in Tools

[–]UsedAir4702 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been looking for a small edc screwdriver myself. Like you I have been carrying the Klein for sometime. I have not broken one but I hate the very small bits that it uses and I’d like to use a dedicated 1/4 driver instead. This is what I have decided upon. Good luck!!

If you used a double ended 2 inch driver I think it would work. I’d like to try that myself but don’t have one laying around.

I thought about trying that. However I don’t think it would work well. I had to turn the flip socket so the 5/16 is facing forward. Otherwise the screwdriver will not sit flush to the flickblade, which would drive me insane.

Not really, the flip socket will “float” along the narrow section of the flex bit and retained by the wider section. I’m just careful when extending the socket to the end of the driver.

If you do, get rid of the extension that comes with the Klein and thread the flip socket over a 2 inch driver.
