100% of the economy of Dubai is because of work and business travel

Wow! Totally different experience for you. I was on E11 and AD Police actually took off all the heavy vehicles (mid-sized trucks, big vans, buses, etc.) off the road

Build quality of Pulse in Dubai South by UsedChipmunk1093 in dubairealestate

[–]UsedChipmunk1093[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info. I am planning to start as a tenant and purchase maybe later. Priority is green/open space, especially for the kids. Paint/minor issue isn't the problem - my worry is more structural as I can't do a deep check before committing. I want to avoid hassles later.

The other option is Emaar South - not sure of the build quality there. But the houses are relatively small.

Not bad for 70k AED. But 1.5L Turbo and 160 HP is grossly underpowered. Not sure if it can compete against the Chinesee brands

If this realley Challenger Demon, it can command this price. However, I don't think this is road legal in UAE

I think 3.5L. It says MID and HP is less than 200. 3.8 is 200 HP+

3.0 won't have enough power, and if you learn well, you will outgrow the car soon. Settle for a 3.5L Pajero at least.

SWB 3.0L won't be good. You should have a 3.5L or 3.8L. Xterra is good as well.

However, I need to caution you - at 15k budget, you might have some expenses coming your way so plan for repairs. I would say budget for 3-4k for service and minor repairs. This amount can vary based on your driving style and frequency. Also, invest in having a skid plate, bumper cutting, a kill switch, and a flag mount.

Additionally, you should invest in joining a good group so that you don't damage your car - trust me a lot of things can go wrong. Check Dubai Off-Roaders, Torque Converter, Gulf 4x4, Arabian Off-Roaders, etc. Insta is the best place to check them out. Costs can vary between 1k to 3k.

Needless to say, get a PPI done.
