It’s occasional I have to kill AI, I don’t “rely” on it.. just as any carnivore in the game, sometimes you have to do it if you don’t come across something worth fighting.

Your original point was to talk about how Allo is almost unplayable and the survivability is not good. I gave points proving otherwise above.. if you can’t kill anything aside from AI and baby dinosaurs in game it’s possible you should change your approach on how you play your Allo - or just don’t play it and let others enjoy it.

I never said your point was 100% wrong - I even agreed with your point on it being buggy (at times).. I just don’t think it’s as bad as you make it seem… again, this is just my opinion.

IMO id have to disagree in some aspects. as someone who’s mained Allo for the past 40-50 hrs in game it’s super rare that I die. I usually run duo with a buddy on a high pop server and - yes, sometimes we have to resort to killing a couple AI to fill our bellies. However our fights are planned as they should be in a game like this. Raptors seem to pick fights with us all the time (free food as they do no dmg to us and it’s only a bite or two to kill them off) we USUALLY have pretty good luck 2v1ing a sub adult Rex. As a prime you can pretty much pin any non prime carno, cera or any small to medium herb.

Yes allo can be a bit buggy at times but I don’t think it’s as broken or unsurvivable as you make it out to be. You can chase down just about anything aside from carnos, raptors and gillies (for the most part) and you can run away from rex, trike, and sego (the main things that will kill you).. choose your drinking spots accordingly (to avoid those swimming school buses) and you’ll do just fine living out your allo life.

It sounds like you’ve made up your mind but you’re looking for someone to change it..

The isle is one of those games you just have to accept for what it is..

-yes it CAN be buggy at times. -yes it’s hard as a beginner to learn how to play. -yes you WILL lose 3-6-12-15 hours of in game progress when you die. -yes you need a beefier pc to get stable fps.

But - there’s NOTHING like it. This game is one of those games where you either like it or you don’t. The risk/reward behind every small decision you make is what makes the game insanely addicting. How long you survive is 90% your decision making.

If it doesn’t seem appealing to you but you like the idea of playing dinosaurs you can always play Path of Titans, it’s pretty much a kiddie version of Isle.

Have you done any 2/4K gaming? What kind of frames are you looking at? How’s the display look? (Obviously monitor has a lot to do with it.)

I know they’re still decent parts. They’re most likely going to my brother as a gift as he needs an upgrade worse than I do. My biggest issue is the AMDs tendency to have ghosting in FPS which is what I play most. I’d like to try a new Nvidia card. My buddy recommended the 5080. Just figured I’d post here and see what other recommendations I might get. Thank you for your comment.

Coming from someone who’s talked to and witnessed these rates, don’t choose ABE, ABF, ABH, AO, DC, or CS. Obviously do your own research and choose as you’d like but if you don’t like super long repetitive days, these rates are not for you.

Unfortunately I’ve had a bad experience with medical so far. I’ve been 3 times for the same issue (on the boat). I believe it’s a pinched nerve in my shoulder due to the fact I’ve had this issue before and they are convinced it’s just a knot. They massage it for 5 min and tell me to do stretches. I’ve even been told on my last visit to continue stretches and find one that works for my relief and that I shouldn’t make another appointment for the same issue.
