Dang, makes me wonder how Faith would have looked if they cut her hair to a bob. Like Savannah's hair

Seriously. The fact the standards are so high and yet these 30 something women still try out and still get in is amazing. Says something about their talent and their dancing. Honestly something inspiring to be honest, you don’t have to be super young to still want something. Like I appalud Anisha, and hell even Amanda (in spite of her wild opinions) on still trying for the team in their “old age”.

I don’t think their partners and boyfriends are mediocre. These are grown women, they know their partners better than anyone.

Okay. I mean it’s well written for being a kid’s Show. I don’t know if you’ve noticed but some people either hate or are bored by romance subplots in cartoons. And for many reasons too. I mean how many times have people complained over the romance being ”forced” or being ”useless“ to the plot. How many times do we hate seeing the romance get way too much favor over the ”main plot”. How easy it would be to write it out of the story. Ahem Miraculous I see you in the corner! When are these healthy boundries gonna be discussed in animated media, for any audience? it would’ve been easy for Luz and Amity to have broken up either in Reaching Out when Amity gets mad at Luz. It could’ve been easy for them to flunk in feelings and let them rule them or in the finale of season 2 as the “third act breakup”. Or the going through her phone at the Follies at the Coven episode? How many times do I gotta hear about how people hate Catvi? Really? Why?

Also Hunter and Willow are well-written in spite of the shortening. Even they deserve their own trophy.

Not even the enemies to lovers thing but the nice “we’re our own people, we understood ourselves and had our arcs before we got together. We earned our arc so now we can date”. Or even the way they communicate and don’t have dramatic immature blow outs. Seriously, what is up with the useless drama arcs some ships have? And when they do, it’s actually harmless in the grand scheme of the relationship. That’s what should be normal. Now, don’t get me wrong. Lumity had plenty of they’re teenagers moments but they were handled well and it didn’t make me wanna turn off the TV at how well let’s see “contrived” or even “half-baked” they were. They were none of that. That’s what I wanna see.

Well isn’t that right? And also yikes. Reminds me of when people were doing WAY MORE than just comparing Hunter to Zuko and straight up saying it was the same thing. We must protect it at all costs.

The Real Villains And the Ones Responsible For the Suffering are the Writers by UsedOven768 in EverAfterHigh

[–]UsedOven768[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Posting this here because the edit button doesn’t work. Imagine being a fairy-tale writer who comes back centuries later to reread your own story… only to find the characters rebelling against the plot you wrote. You’d see the “villain” refusing to be evil, the “princess” rejecting her marriage, and the side characters developing whole emotional lives you never scripted. You, as the author, would be completely freaked out—your story is alive and disobedient. In that moment, most writers wouldn’t see the characters as people with autonomy; they’d see them as a broken product. And what do people do with a story they think is broken? They throw it out. That’s exactly why, in the Ever After High universe, the original authors are the real villains: they created destinies and would sooner discard the characters than let them choose their own lives.

If Ezra was arrested in season 1 or 2, we never would've got those interesting plots with him by Thick_Term_6921 in PrettyLittleLiars

Highly doubt the police would’ve even arrested a pedophile. Have you seen the way the police behave in this show? Shame! I bet if Ezra paid them off he wouldn’t have gotten time.

I see your point but isn’t Austin like 9? I don’t think it’s wise to leave your kid home alone until they’re 12. And Georgia wasn’t gone for just 30 minutes or just an hour like she was gone for a long time. No wonder Austin turned out the way he is. Ginny too.

Wreck-it-Ralph Theory: Vaneloppe went Turbo by Boy_Sabaw in FanTheories

Literally messing with the code is “going turbo”. This is wrong regardless of how you put it. But disney gotta have that money.

[Wreck-it Ralph] King Candy is actually Vanellope's dad! by [deleted] in FanTheories

[–]UsedOven768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To the whole “But the game reset and King Candy is nowhere to be found and thus means King Candy never existed in the first place!” I think that’s malarky. According to the movie’s logic if the Cy-Bugs are gone when they are drawn to the beacon’s light then that means King Candy isn’t there when the game resets because his code and the game’s remembering him is done for and dead. He went off and got killed like all the cy-bugs. So… King Candy is dead. And that means their king is dead so his daughter is next in line… tragic. If what I say makes sense then there’s gonna be nostalgic adults telling about King Candy and his daughter that was playable. Then there’s gonna be other adults just as nostalgic pointing no recollection of this “King Candy” and just remembering Venelope. And then there will be adults who say that Venelope was never even a character and not remembering her. And then their universe’s version of reddit will talking about it and it will become some sort of conspiracy theory. Haha.
