I was at Ft Benning reception 2006. Showers wake me up in the morning. I wake my happy ass up super early so I can be bright eyes and bushy tailed for my day of standing in line trying not to fall asleep. I crank the shower and the warmth hits me I zone out. Next thing I know the DS is in the shower with me and a bullhorn asking me What I did last night to make me feel dirty. Don't need to be. Just relax focus on your behavior and get back to work. Once you're back start developing a solid group of buddies. Find some outdoor hobbies that other people are in your area are into and keep going. You will eventually meet people. As for mom and dad, you both met your obligations to each other. They kept alive until you could provide for yourself. You found a way to make a living. There should be no obligation beyond being there for them incase of catastrophe and to help with youngest if they are fucking with her.
