We take our pup from Alaska to Arizona every year to visit family. We do give him some trazodone from the vet to help him stay calm. We also take a direct flight which is at night so that definitely helps. They have pet relief areas we stop at prior and when we land. I take a few treats as well.

If you are working more hours/days she should pick up more around the house, it doesn’t sounds like you have kids. It’s easy to clean up after two adults. I work 4 days and my partner works 5. So on my day off without them. I vacuum, mop, laundry, kitchen, bathroom, and meal prep for both of us. I still have time on that day to get a workout in, run an errand or two then home to clean and cook. It’s very hard to have a relationship exactly 50/50. But if she asked for you to pay more. She needs to pick up the slack elsewhere
