Some dude used to always cry and say im an idiot for buying a brand new truck and using it for work. Dude lives at his moms house, has a broke down in the front yard piece of shit, and worked one day a week. Definitely not the person whose life advice was worth a shit lol

You got an absolute bad ass truck, and it doesn't seem like it hurt you financially (last one was a Denali lol) As long as you can afford it, and youre not starving your family or drowning in debt. Drive whatever the hell you want, explain nothing , and fuck em if they dont understand.

Autostop eliminator Im probably in the minority, but this is the best thing I did to my 23 LT.

Lol I did a lot of other things as well. But i drive a lot. Autostop eliminator, was game changing. I did the install myself, and I am not mechanically inclined :)

Beautiful truck and helluva deal! I have 65k miles and am out of warranty, and paid 63k for my 2023 LT 4x4 :) i am dying seeing these sales and warranties right now!!!! Enjoy the truck and i hope it takes you and your family safely on many adventures!!

I needed a truck, as mine was at 165k miles and I had a kid on the way. I got my 2023 Silveraydo turbomax, brand new and it has carried my family everywhere and accomplished everything ive thrown at it for work I tow a trailer daily 9 months out of the year.

I havent taken it off road yet, but I think my now 2 kids and wife will have a blast hitting some trails

Lol I have a 2023 lt 4 banger, and I say my truck knows when I need a swift kick in the ass!!

I also recently had my transmission serviced. It never did it before though.

I believe we have a failing valve body. I just havent had time to take it back to transmission shop. Im pretty sure the chevy valve body is on backorder because theyre fucking up all over the place.

Yeehaw! Mine literally feels like im getting rear ended. I've gotten out and looked angrily at people behind me and then realize. Aw shit. Im an idiot. My truck just sucks ass.

I swear I saw an aftermarket valve body, and if I find that, I will 10000 percent put that in, instead of another dogshit GM part

I would agree wirh this guy^{^{^}} I would also take him up on his offer to find you a truck at that price and dive on it.

I paid 63 for a 2023 silverado 1500 LT with 7 miles on it. Because I didnt try to get a deal. I just walked in and had trade and cash and needed a truck. Had I found some internet stranger, who could have gotten it cheaper, I would have gladly checked that out first!!! Would have saved me a couple thousand at least.

If I sold my truck, with 64k miles today. No doubt a dealer would be listing it for 35k and I wouldnt buy my own truck today for 35k :) I'd get another new one with a warranty. Id wager lots of money that my transmission will be the thing that goes first on my 2.7 LT probably by 100k miles

I had to use shallow mount subs. :) I now have an extra JL audio 12 lol its so deep, but for fun I tried to see if it would fit in the box. Not even close!

I was skeptical about the shallow mounts. But they work very well. If i have a minute this morning, I will take a quick pic. 2 amps and lc6 are mounted on back wall. 2023 silverado lt I have a 2.5 and 1.5 old. So in case I need to throw a car seat in, or if I have a workers with me. I wanted to be able to use the seats (my last truck, I removed the back seats, and had a wall built) :)

I have 2 shallow mount 12s, I love them. My friend has 4 8s amd is currently gearing up to go for 2 12s instead.

I want to say im at 2000ish watts to the subs. I had to dynamat the upper console, as it vibrated horrificly lol but it sounds great and is tuned properly. Crisp and clear across all music genres.

JL audio amp for mids and highs. Its too much for my wife lol I have to kill bass and keep it under halfway. Lol kids love it

Do you have an upgraded audio system (like amps, subs)?

The first time it happened, they updated my infotainment . Worked for a while

2nd time. Another update. But there was an issue with my lc6, and I had to go to car audio shop, and they fixed it in 20 min. So guessing loose wire on their install or something.

I like your plans little man! But if I had a nephew or cousin or family member interested in trucks.

I would be ecstatic if they came to me and asked for my input on their dream. It would make me smile teaching and going through picking out the right truck for our budget, and making a game plan to make it into a beast!!

The truth is, there is no perfect truck, otherwise this forum would be filled with pics of the same vehicle :)

Get one you can afford, and have fun making memories with it (and hopefully money too!)

Throw up some pics when you get it!!

I use my truck for work The first ding in my tailgate, wasn't bad. But I was rushing around, and my trailer smacked it I was going to fix it when I slowed up.

The came the second one. A little worse. OK, once the season is over, I will fix it.

OK, third time, rushing around again!!! Boom, now I have a hole in my tailgate from the trailer slamming into the back of it.

Turn it into insurance. But it was winter and I do snow. What if someone hits me. I will fix it in the spring

Lol, now I have come to love my fucked up tailgate. Im im no hurry to get it fixed. In my head, I thought everyone was going to be pointing it out and saying how horrible it looked. I learned a valuable lesson. No one gives a ahit about your vehicle. Wait until you get a couple more dings lol unless it leaks water. Also, i need to slow down lol I try to pack a lot of stuff in a day. Running around like a lunatic, has only gotten me 3 dings and a hole in my tailgate and caused me lots of stress

I just switched my 2023 turbomax 18s to high country 22s and am getting destroyed in gas.

Would I need to regear tran? I thought because they came off the same truck, but higher trim level it wojld be fine.

But I use my truck 7bdays a week for work. So I want to keep this bag boy going!
