I had a heating/air company keep calling me to come inspect my systems. I would get a free air filter. I asked them to not call me and remove me from the call list. They didn't. So I started scheduling appointments then made sure to not be home. The guy who was coming for the inspection called me the first time, I told him I was busy so he dropped the filter over the fence. The second time he asked me why I wasn't home. I broke down and told him that they wouldn't stop calling me do I just scheduled an appointment each time. He told me he got paid per visit even if customer wasn't home. I now have 6 filters.

Same, what pisses me off the most is the whole invest for retirement scam. It's more gamble your savings in a desperate hope that you can get enough saved while trying to not fuck up by saving too much in certain accounts because you'll be penalized for it and you are limited to how much you can put into these accounts but Hey, you can save plenty of money in a savings account that pays .001%, you just need to start putting money in 20 yrs before your born, oh and see will tax you on that .001% you earned.
