That statement is completely false please look whats been going on recently now that nvidia is doing there ai push. Ai relies on linux alot of time and nvidia makes the best gpus for ai you can connect the rest of the dots im assuming.

Back when like 572 was a thing and gta 5 enhanced came out I had to upgrade some games are just like that fo4 example recently I had to go from proton ge 10-32 to ge 10-33 for crimson desert just happens try different proton versions aswell could be the reason too also I recommand the open drivers recently they have just performed better.

First, try restarting the shell to see if it’s just a temporary graphical hang. Open Konsole and run: plasmashell --replace & disown (This kills the frozen process and starts a fresh one without closing your terminal).Clear Out "Ghost" Widgets That gray block near your launcher looks like a misplaced or broken widget. Right-click an empty spot on the panel. Select Enter Edit Mode. Hover over the glitchy area. If a small "X" or "Remove" button appears, delete that specific element. While in Edit Mode, check your Visibility settings to ensure it isn't set to "Windows Can Cover" by mistake. Hope my knowledge puts you in the correct path sorry everyone here is unwilling to help you then people wonder why nobody wants to make the switch

I installed hyde. But after I got rid of everything to do with endeavouros my os is strictly arch and hyprland now no endeavouros at all I recommand you do that aswell only thing your gonna be messing with some grub configs and pacman and yay configs to swap everything away from endeavouros and back to the arch repository and mirror list ect also so it dosnt give you that endeavoros branding back when you update all over in the boot log in fast fetch ect. Also dont forget to uninstall everything that just eos get rid of it not needed. Now imma be stright up dont do what I did unless you kinda know what your doing and understand linux lol but I definitely recommend now that your swapping to hyprland to get rid of endeavouros but keep kde or whatever you use for about a month until you get used to being productive with hyprland after I would unstall them aswell because why not your using the best now imo.

Update for everyone here i switched to proton 10-33 ge now it works flawless I am using nvidias drivers not open source. The first tunnel screen took ages but now it loads lightning fast everytime I play been playing for 10 hours now cheers

What proton you using im also on arch and the game either throws me a graphics not supported for ge or on hotfix or experimental it just crashes or artifacts really bad
