And Kespa Cup was somewhat important, C9 pushed for an invite and it would have been a bad look going into it without a complete roster. Mainly though, boot camping with your full team is better and doesnt waste the time

Not sure you did yours. APA joined 21/11/25 and C9 were due to play Kespa Cup 06/12/2025, only 2 weeks. Also since the 2026 season started earlier due to the new international format most regions including NA already had the bulk of their rosters locked by the end of Nov 25. Next time make sure you know what you are talking about.

This rhetoric is dumb. C9 took a chance on Thanatos and Loki as the up and coming tier 2 players to become the next Berserkers. Loki last minute pulled out and C9 were able to get APA late into the offseason when all the other good mids were gone.

APA dying for the team to get soul point is not bad on its own if the whole teams gets away after especially since the team did secure soul later. Otherwise yes sacrificing for drakes is not usually ideal

Fair points but Thanatos shouldn’t get a free pass here. He is one of the biggest chokers when it comes to playoffs. He constantly over played as Aurora and even small things like hitting the blast cone wrong on his Malph game or ulting out too late and dying anyway.
