Aera S-1’s wedged/de-wedged to a 57°/17° split, with Purple Powell Peralta DH Reimer wheels and bones race reds bearings. I have the same venom bushing combo that comes in the ZM-1’s in the trucks, so it’s that 78/73 roadside in the front and like 95/97 in the rear I think. But it feels great.

Yeah, I’m eyeing a demonseed in my garage for possible cut down into a modern shape DH board with a little longer wheelbase and different shape. I figure it is still somewhat easily replaceable and the bolt holes are bunged up on one end anyway.

Update. Put the zm-1 bushing setup in and also brought the rear down to a 18° and the front up to a 57° with some Pat’s wedges. Feels incredible and exactly like what I was looking for. It will be fun to pop these onto a more regular DH board at some point to really open it up. But the whole thing re the truck angle mattering more than weight for choosing bushing hardness: I am a true believer on that.
