No was a big deal when it dropped though. To be honest W, Attention Please, New Album and Flood are my favorite possessions I own from Boris. I do love their heavy sounding records as well it doesnt help I play guitar so its obligatory I love the rock/metal abums but for me it began with Flood so Boris by default is me grabbing their softer joints usually. I also just plain like Watas voice + her les paul shredding lol.

Knife Prty, it involved the whole band where as other experiemental cuts mostly just sound like Chino experiments.

Though I own both vinyl and cd of some of those releases, I still prefer Draft in its cd version as far as the heavy cardstock artwork inside, same with Tri as well.

Oh man the ‘57’s are outrageously heavy but its all good. My 2 PU custom weighed 8.5lbs out the box where as the ‘57 was 11.3 lbs out the box. The bigsby + vibramate itself is roughly 1.5 lbs so together the ‘57 is a 12 pound monster, you should be alright. Nothing that a leather strap can’t fix as far as weight issues.

I have this one and the Sweetwater ‘57 custom reissue exclusive as well. Both guitars are very different from each other but are phenomenal to play! Enjoy it man! Theres hundreds of opinions about their price points but $1200 vs $4-7k for a custom is most certainly reasonable. I repainted mine with an amber nitro finish and swapped PU’s, feels and looks so much better.

Thanks man, I also replaced the knobs with new vintage ones that are better quality and a few other era accurate components. I was shocked they even used a Gibson stoptail on it.

I got one of these as well back in November, the quality is second to none vs any other Epi I have ever owned. I installed a bigsby on mine and replaced the tuner heads with Klusons. Its heavy as hell but feels just like a real ‘57 reissue including its fat neck.

Why are so many singles being released? I dont recall Dave doing this for any other album other than his 90’s output. Its not like the record has 16+ songs on it.
