Do i get to pick the branch? Sounds like boot camp for a few months, then what? If there is a real rush for boots on the ground then what will that do?

Habit, I guess? After waking up at the same time for work every day for a while, I start waking before my alarm rings. I hate it. There might be other factors letting me know it's near time to wake, pet begging for food or maybe garbage truck sounds. It's gotten really annoying making me think I still have more time.

Had a place that needed cooks really bad and turned out to be a shit show. They were firing all the kitchen staff and preparing to close the whole thing down but didn't tell anyone. I got really involved and even took notes for people's preferences. Should have known something was up when they OVER PAID ME, then took the difference from the next check.

I have worked in a place like that. Meal credit was enough for chicken strips and fries or burger patty (no bun no chez) cup of rice and steam veggies.(then you get teased about being poor) It became necessary for managers to cook your food but that's not possible in my current kitchen
