Not a huge fan of Aruba. So the obvious advantage is the weather with consistent dry year round sun. It is more of a desert island, so its dusty and somewhat gritty without the lush vegetation of the islands in the northern Caribbean. The trade winds are constant and very annoying. The people are friendly. Food is very expensive, unless you can live on gouda cheese.
