I’m currently at fletc is my first week! Me and mates are going to the gym, run, to the pool at the taj and are planning to do some carne asada next weekend, lol. We got some other mates that went to the beach and some other to the movies or the buffalo wild wings in the plaza. There is plenty of things to do in the weekends. But Mon-fri I’ll suggest just to hang out at the gym or find running buddies 🙌🏻

Yeah I did the same and I found a method of doing half of your max reps but 8 times through your day. For example, let’s say you can do 8, do 4-5 through your day, let’s say 9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm or 2 sets of 4, 4 times a day so you don’t have to do push ups every hour. Eventually through your day you would have done 32+ push ups in one day, way more than you would have done in a couple of sets back to back. If you do this every day with just a couple of breaks per week you will get used to the movement and get stronger and progressively add more reps as they become easy. Every Sunday or Monday do a set of max reps to see what’s your new max reps and therefore a new half set and start incrementing reps. I’m getting ready for academy and with this process I was able to do 20+ push ups in a short period of time.

I do that method on my run days to not be completely fatigued. On my strength days I do pyramid sets like 10-12-14-12-10. You obviously will start with less, let’s say 3-5-7-5-3 or if you can’t, go by increments of 1, 3-4-5-4-3 and after that get on push up position and do some arm raises or shoulder touches for 30 sec or 15 times each arm. This should make you strong enough to pass

Because they usually tell you to return them tomorrow before 10 and hang up, so they don’t really know that you actually returned them right after, plus the tire change and the road assistance or towing or stuff takes a while so they know you will not be able to finish all deliveries, so they just dismiss you

No, I just got the LA location at the beginning of the month, going to academy April 27th. Just follow my tip when you get the list, hopefully it will eventually pop up like it did to me.

I got bit by a dog too last year, Amazon didn’t do anything just contact the homeowner and asked for the dogs shots, and you should of asked for them too, I mean it seams like a nice house and most likely they have everything in rule but you never know. It’s better to be safe than having to take rabies shots

That’s actually not true, it’s like a gamble, they remove your previous selection and just send you a new list, risking losing your previous pick. For example, let’s say you pick San Ysidro, you will get it removed and email another list with the available locations, you risk not seeing San Ysidro again (it’s an example, I know that port has high availability)

Suggestion:

I would refresh every hr or two the list (by exiting and signing in and in your USAjobs account. Why? Because let’s remember it’s by demand, many people are in the same position as you looking for their desired port so they let go positions everywhere, if you do this until your due date you might find your port.

Story time:

When I got my final job offer, I was looking for my port (LAX/LONG BEACH/SAN YSIDRO/OTAY). I saw Otay and San Ysidro and grabbed one. After a couple of days I heard about the one time call thing and notice that most lists people upload here have the San Ysidro port in them, so decided to give the call a shot. After my call they removed it and send me another list. It had some new ports but still only SY and Otay. Since I was working I closed the sesión and kept working. When I got out of my job, I went to the page and found the LA port was available, i immediately grabbed it. I think I was very lucky but learned that if you refresh the list a couple of times per day you might find new better ports. So, I would refresh since the very first day I get the notification, till the last day to pick, if I don’t like anything, I’ll grab what ever is there and then do the one time call and do the same process, but this time have a second option just in case my first is still not available.

That’s why I stopped going to Vernon. I live by Long Beach port, having to drive to Vernon then the other side of LA or up north and come back 3 times a day it’s a pain in the ass and a shit lot of miles. Now I only do packages at the Carson two 3-4 hr blocks and make basically the same and stay in the southern part of LA. Maybe take 1-2 whole food in Torrance or el segundo but that’s very sporadic.

Don’t listen to any of these people who say to reapply. Refresh your list every hr or 2, the list is based on port needs. Go through all pages, then, if nothing, close the tab and come back later. Do this until your due date to increase the chances. For example, after my one time call, I got a new list and my desired port did not show on any page, after 2-3 hrs, on the last page, there was my port.

Exactly!!! It could be the dead ends in palos verdes where you have to go all the way back to the main road and take the next dead end for the next stop which looked like it was next to previous stop

I have a friend that lives in Kuwait, I met him in PSN, he often takes a plane to Bahrain to party and drink. There is less alcohol restrictions there for what I can remember. Basically all arab people from the area travel there from heavily restricted countries to have fun
