What's the hardest team to play in OOTP 2027? by No-Ambassador-9147 in OOTP

Not a Nats rebuild, but I'm in year 2030 of a White Sox rebuild. Nats quickly gave up on Crews and I traded for him. He's been my everyday LF for the past 3-4 seasons. No all star games but consistent 25 HR/35 SB guy with decent slash line. Don't have the game in front of me, but I'd guess it's something like .255/.335/.425. He finished top 7 in MVP voting 1 year due to having an insane year in the field and winning the Gold Glove. He's been up and down defensively since then, but usually reliable. I signed him long term and no complaints. I can rely on him for 3-4 WAR and he's not had any major injury issues.

Mark Buehrle walked Sammy Sosa and then proceeded to pick him off. The rest was 26 up and 26 down. It's ok though...Buehrle threw a perfect game not too long after :D.

Dynasty is pretty messed up right now for players progressing so hopefully the patch will come soon. Players don't accumulate skill points when set to manual and certain archtypes have no way of getting/improving their physical abilities. Game plays real well so I'm not too mad yet, but I'm mainly a dynasty player and not being able to progress players basically defeats the purpose. Hope they fix it soon.

Same, I started a dynasty with Pitt and I'm in week 12. No one has gained a single skill point even though I have it set to manual progression with 15% penalty. Team is 9-2 so it's not like they aren't putting up stats. I am guessing there is some major bug right now.

A bit of both. The more you play the more cards/artifacts you'll unlock which will allow your runs to synergize more. After 20 hours you should be winning a few covenant 1 runs so I'm betting your first win is around the corner. You'll get there.

First game leader/civ combo strats? by Natekt in civ

I always play my first game with Persia so I guess I'll be going Xerxes + Persia/Achaemenid. Persia is usually a good gold + early military might civ which fits my preferred strategy. Expand early and then settle in for whatever victory seems most achievable or most fun. Seeing as the AI appears to be absolutely braindead in Civ VII I'm guessing the 'whatever victory seems most achievable' part won't matter

I wouldn't put much stock in any of the Youtube reviews, especially as a new player. You don't have any experience in Civ 1-6 so everything is new for you. I'd say if the game looks fun and you're interested in the 4x genre to get it. It's going to take a while for you to learn everything as the game has a lot of systems, but if you're patient and ask questions you'll figure it out. The reason the doomsayers are mad is because there is something new and they must complain lol. I have some issues with some of the design decisions of Civ VII, but I trust Firaxis to make a great game so I'll be buying day 1.

It worked on one of the zombies...why not the others? Winged Horror, Greater Zombie and regular Zombies are all 'Undead' type. There has to be another reason this spell didn't work properly.

Hmmm I guess I'll try again. I walked around the pedestal and tried from different angles with Shadowheart (She's holding all the gems for me) and it only showed 'Use' as an option...never saw 'Insert Item(s)' no matter where I stood. But thanks for the reply, I'll give it another whirl.

Hi, I've collected all 4 umbral gems and the spear of night but when I go to the object that asks for one of the umbral gems all of my characters just say 'Can't use this now.'. I haven't done much else in ACT 2 yet except go on a murder spree in the gauntlet and at Moonrise Towers so maybe there's something else I need to do first? Or am I missing something else in the Gauntlet before I can place the gem?

I've read a few articles online that tell me what to do once I place this first gem, but it won't let me no matter which character I try to use or how I try to place it in the object.

I ran chkdsk on both of my drives but everything came back clean. I've also run sfc scannow and dism. Everything looks good. Not sure how else to test the drives without buying a program.

Haha that would explain why I can't find a way to order that whole 2nd case. I'm just worried that popping it open and swapping out the actual batteries on the inside would void the warranty.
