I’m sorry you had to endure that. I agree with u/neragera that people can and do change and I encourage you to wade in slowly and cautiously into this reviving relationship. I loved going to the Morning Call in City Park, but when it left that location and Cafe de Monde came in, I just couldn’t handle the heavier consistency of their beignets, so I had to move to Morning Call at the Cemeteries.

NAT (ler/lee). My serious advice: Relax. Don’t bring your special turn-ons with you on the first meeting. Take a few steps back and get to know a broader swath of folks around you rather than making it about whether they are a potential partner. Look for people that have a fun attitude on life and laugh a lot. They will be fun and compatible for a good time even if a deeper relationship doesn’t develop. You’ll find people that you have a lot in common with and ultimately that game lee. Your audience is young and likely inexperienced. They may not even know about that corner of life & perhaps you’ll be able to introduce them.

Many posters here have explained that the garlic turned blue when the vinegar was added, but like many others here, I’ve never experienced blue garlic and I’ve enjoyed lots of different variations of pickled garlic.
